STEVIE NICKS says she’s truly sorry for saying she would strangle NICKI MINAJ to death.
A little too late for that now, isn’t it?
Stevie Nicks, who obviously saw the videotaped cuss-filled cat fight between “American Idol” co- judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj, recently made harsh comments about Minaj in an attempt to side with Carey on their allegedly staged feud.
She said:
“[I] would have killed [Minaj] in front of all those people and had to go to jail for it.”
And because Nicks probably faced some backlash over her insensitive statement, she’s now singing a different tune.
In a newly released public statement, the 64-year-old Fleetwood Mac singer apologized, saying:
“I want to apologize for my remarks about Nicki Minaj’s behavior toward Mariah Carey, which I said during a long and exhausting day of interviews.”
She continued:
“It was very out of character for me and I deeply regret what I said. I feel very protective toward Mariah Carey, who has gone through many difficulties in her life, and I spoke without thinking.”
Finally, she concluded:
“I think all artists should be respectful toward one another and that includes me. I am truly sorry.”
Less talk, less trouble, Stevie.
Do you think Nicki should forgive her?
