The latest Hollywood celebrity gossip tells us that CHRIS BROWN has backed out from his concert in Guyana after several protests over his assault on RIHANNA three years ago.
Several protests by women’s rights groups over at Guyana in northern South America concerning Chris Brown‘s not-so-private beatdown of Rihanna back in 2009 has reportedly caused his local show (allegedly scheduled on December 26) to be cancelled.
“Concert promoter Hits & Jams Entertainment said Thursday that Brown backed out, citing discomfort with the protests.”
Hmm. Chris Brown agreeing to back out? It just didn’t sound right.
Because it wasn’t.
According to Gossip Cop, Breezy was “NEVER confirmed to do the concert in question.”
The site also stated:
“A source close to the R&B star tells Gossip Cop the promoter is ‘being untruthful’ about Brown’s commitment, and that his participation in the show had not been finalized.”
Something tells us the confirmed report still won’t make his loyal Guyana fans feel any better, though.
