According to the latest Hollywood news, GABRIEL AUBRY is claiming that he was the victim in his Thanksgiving fight with his ex HALLE BERRY‘s fiance, OLIVIER MARTINEZ, last week.
Well, he definitely looks the part…
Initial reports recounting Gabriel Aubry‘s wild Thanksgiving brawl with his ex Halle Berry‘s French actor fiance, Olivier Martinez, at the actress’ home alleged that Aubry started the fight, which was why he was subsequently arrested for battery.
But Aubry, whose face is now heavily bruised, begs to differ.
According to the latest court documents filed by Aubry and retrieved by TMZ, the tension started the day before when he bumped into Olivier at his 4-year-old daughter Nahla‘s school. Olivier allegedly whispered in his ear in French:
“I wish I could beat the sh*t out of you right now. You’re lucky we’re in a school right now. We’re going to take Nahla right now and you’re not going to follow us.”
The report went on to claim that when Aubry went to Halle‘s drop off Nahla the next day (the day of the fight), he was approached by Olivier (instead of the maid) and reportedly told him:
“We need to talk”
When Gabriel tried to close his car door, Olivier–whose father was a Spanish professional boxer–suddenly lunged at him from the steps and started beating Aubry up.
Olivier reportedly slammed Aubry‘s head against the concrete driveway, which probably left the huge bump above his left cheek.
Aubry also claimed that while he was being assaulted, Olivier was screaming that his and Halle’s failed custody battle (in which they were fighting to move Nahla to his hometown, France) had cost them $3 million. The French actor also revealed that they intend to move anyway and that he should follow them if he didn’t want to be killed.
Afterwards, Martinez reportedly told Aubry:
“We called the cops. You’re going to tell them that you’re the one who attacked me, or I’m going to kill you.”
As if that wasn’t allegedly unfair for Aubry, who was decided by court to share 50/50 care with Halle over their daughter, he was soon ordered by an emergency restraining order to stay 100 yards away from his daughter, Halle and Olivier. Recent reports say Halle will even be heading to court to extend that protective order.
Gabriel‘s declaration, which he made with the help of his lawyer Shawn Holley, included photos of his extreme facial injuries (more below).
Do you believe Aubry?
