In recent entertainment news, JAMES FRANCO directs and stars in a “Grease”-inspired music video for R.E.M.’s song “That Someone Is You.”
James has a very extensive resume—not only is he an actor and one of Hollywood’s hottest male celebrities, but he’s also a fiction novelist, an invisible artist, a porn documentarian, and even a sometimes-drag queen.
Recently, he added ‘music video director’ to the list.
In the “Grease”-inspired video, which is the second R.E.M. music video he’s directed, James plays Danny Zuko (John Travolta’s character) as he recreates the final scene from “Grease.”
As for the girl who plays Sandy Olsen (Olivia Newton-John’s character)… well, she’s got a giant cat head superimposed on her face.
