In recent Hollywood celebrity gossip, JONAH HILL was called “rude” and a “tool” by CNN anchor DON LEMON, who claims the actor snubbed him during a recent hotel run-in.
Looks like there’s a new feud brewing in the world of Hollywood.
“CNN Newsroom” host Don Lemon recently started a feud with the now super skinny “21 Jump Street” star on Twitter, because the latter allegedly ignored him when they came face to face at a hotel earlier this week.
“Said hi to @jonahhill in hotel. Think he thought i was bellman. Didn’t know his name til bellman told me. A lesson to always be kind.”
And when a fan asked about the encounter, he responded:
“[Jonah] was a tool.”
When the actor found out about the tweets, he wrote back:
“I said hi. What do you want me to do, move in with you? I was in a hurry.”
He later added:
“Didn’t realize you were a 12 year old girl. Peace.”
The openly gay TV personality then replied:
“Hardly. You’re not my type. But I know rude. And u were.”
After Lemon’s tweet, Hill decided to offer his side to the story. He tweeted back:
“I walked out of the restroom and found you waiting for me… Shook hands, said hi and was on my way. Sorry if you found that rude.”
Despite Jonah’s apology, Don continued channeling his wrath against the 28-year-old actor. He wrote:
“The bellman and I laughed at how self-important you were. Just being honest. Be nice. Stardom is fleeting.”
Jonah has since deleted his tweets, while Don actually went on to rehash the incident on CNN’s “Starting Point with Soledad O’Brien,” where he said that the “Night Watch” star treated him “like the help.”
It’s one thing to complain on Twitter, but to waste valuable airtime that should have been allotted for hard-hitting news pieces—like hurricane Sandy relief reports—on something so trivial? Ugh.
Whose side are you on?
