According to the latest celebrity news, KATE MOSS has opened up about the fact that it took her “years and years of crying” to get over her former boyfriend, JOHNNY DEPP.
Not a lot of people know that Kate Moss, who is now happily married to British musician Jamie Hince, was once in a four-year relationship with one of the sexiest men in the world, Johnny Depp… who is now single after splitting from his longtime girlfriend Vanessa Paradis a couple of months ago.
The British beauty opened up about that particular period in her life in the new issue of Vanity Fair. She shared:
“There’s nobody that’s ever really been able to take care of me. Johnny did for a bit. I believed what he said.”
Kate, who started dating Johnny in 1994 when she was still in the early stages of her career, explained that she placed a lot of trust in her then-boyfriend… so much trust, in fact, that she often asked him for help with her decisions. She added:
“Like if I said, ‘What do I do?,’ he’d tell me.”
“And that’s what I missed… I really lost that gauge of somebody I could trust. Nightmare. Years and years of crying. Oh, the tears!”
Following their “nightmare” breakup, the supermodel then went on to date known drug addict Pete Doherty… and that was also around the same time that photos of her snorting a substance that was believed to be cocaine were made public.
Though she doesn’t deny the coke in the interview, she does deny doing heroin, which was widely believed to be her drug of choice, as she is noted for popularizing the “heroin chic” look in the ‘90s. She told Vanity Fair:
“I had never even taken heroin—it was nothing to do with me at all.”
