In recent star news, AMBER TAMBLYN revealed why she chose to wear a yellow wedding gown to her nuptials to DAVID CROSS in early October.
When Amber Tamblyn finally married her longtime boyfriend, comedian David Cross, in a serene woodland ceremony, her wedding party—which included her co-stars in “Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants”—didn’t see her in a flowing white gown. Instead, they saw her arrive in a bright yellow dress that beautifully complimented her reddish hair and fair complexion.
Amber talked about the dress in an interview with Us Weekly at the WIRED Store Opening Night party last November 29 in New York:
“It was marigold, and it had a train in the back that was cream. Like a center-piece that was cut out in the middle.”
As for why she ditched the traditional white dress, she admitted:
“There’s nothing really traditional about me.”
It’s true—the actress not only didn’t follow the usual dress code and married someone 20 years older than her, but she also arrived in a canoe and walked barefoot at her wedding.
What do you think of Amber‘s explanation?
