ANNE HATHAWAY has opened up about her “devastating’ wardrobe malfunction at her own movie premiere on Monday, admitting that “they saw everything.”
Oh yes they did!
Anne Hathaway sure didn’t expect to join the likes of Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears when she went panty-less and arrived at the premiere of her new movie, “Les Miserables,” in New York on Monday night. And yet she did… when she unknowingly flashed her privates to the waiting paparazzi while stepping out of her limo.
She was able to walk the red carpet in her black Tom Ford cape dress like nothing happened but we’re sure it shook her up big time!
So how did the married actress really feel about the incident?
According to the Daily News, Hathaway admitted during a “Les Miserables” cast Tuesday lunch at the Four Seasons Hotel on Tuesday:
“It was devastating.”
She added:
“They saw everything. I might as well have lifted up my skirt for them.”
Hathaway, who was clad in a with a thigh-high split at the time, reportedly also revealed to Vanity Fair’s Ingrid Sischy:
“I was getting out of the car and my dress was so tight that I didn’t realize it until I saw all the photographers’ flashes.”
Well, that’s what celebrities get when they go commando. Evidently, even those wearing long skirts are not safe!
