JOHN TRAVOLTA And OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN Reunite In Corny “Grease”-Inspired Music Video For “I Think You Might Like It” (VIDEO)
Recent entertainment news has learned that JOHN TRAVOLTA and OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN have reunited in a corny “Grease”-inspired music video for their newest single, “I Think You Might Like It,” off their soon-to-be-released Christmas album, “This Christmas.”
Almost 35 years after they starred as Danny and Sandy in “Grease,” John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John decided to work together again for an upcoming holiday album titled “This Christmas” and have just released the music video for its first upbeat single, “I Think You Might Like It.”
We think it was aptly-titled too because you might like it—if you are a huge fan of the pair and homemade videos, that is.
The terrifyingly low-budget “Grease”-inspired music video features the allegedly gay actor and Olivia reuniting, singing and line dancing (seriously) as well as familiar elements from the movie—the black ensembles and an aqua-colored Greased Lightning. Travolta‘s kids and wife Kelly Preston‘s appearances and the cheesy family scenes didn’t help either.
At least it sounds like it’s going to be a not-so-bad duet-filled album that will help raise donations for the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre and the Jett Travolta Foundation.
Olivia said about the album last month:
“We all felt a wonderful, joyful energy while recording this album. We want to make a lot of people smile and happy.”
We sure hope you like drowning in cheese.
Do you “like it”?
