KE$HA bragged about writing the lyrics to her song “Die Young” before the horrific Connecticut shooting took place.

Whoa.

kesha radio interview

Days after entertainment news reported that her new single, “Die Young,” has significantly dropped in radio air plays in the wake of the tragic kindergarten shooting in Connecticut, Ke$ha admitted that she was just forced to sing the inappropriate lyrics that included, “Let’s make the most of the night like we’re gonna die young.”

Now, a video of her radio interview with the New York radio station 95.5 WPLJ in November has surfaced, in which the eccentric pop star proudly revealed that she wrote the entire thing.

She said during the interview:

“I definitely make sure that every word rings true to me because I would never want to misrepresent myself to millions of people around the world … I wrote and rewrote and rewrote that song ten times.”

Now just to remind you of her (deleted) contradicting tweet from earlier this week, she wrote:

“I did NOT want to sing those lyrics and I was FORCED TO.”

Hmm. Fishy.
