MATT DAMON has announced to entertainment news that he did a lot of nudity with MICHAEL DOUGLAS for his upcoming LIBERACE biopic.
Matt Damon took a break from action movies to do some serious and racy acting for his new movie, an HBO biopic titled “Behind the Candelabra: My Life With Liberace” about Wladziu Valentino Liberace‘s relationship with Scott Thorson, who penned the autobiography of the same name that inspired the 2013 movie.
“Normally I’d say no to nudity, but I just did a lot of it playing the long-term partner of Liberace, Scott Thorson, in ‘Behind the Candelabra.’”
But, he assured his critics that it was no porn. He explained about the exposure:
“I mean, it’s tastefully done… But this movie’s not going to be for everyone.”
Fans of Liberace would remember, Damon‘s character Scott Thorson gets to be very intimate with a Liberace himself, who was played by Catherine Zeta Jones‘ cancer surviving husband, Michael Douglas!
Despite the obvious awkwardness, the actors reportedly “drew it up like a football plan.”
“Michael was a wonderful kisser. My concerns ended up mattering a lot less once we were filming.”
