NICKI MINAJ was wowed by a spectacular performance of her song “Super Bass” during one “American Idol” audition during the show’s premiere on Wednesday.

The much-awaited 12th season of “American Idol” has officially kicked off with a premiere on Wednesday and one of its newest judges, Nicki Minaj, was obviously blown away by one particular hopeful’s performance during their New York auditions.
The contestant is 17-year-old farm girl and self-confessed country song-lover, Sarah Restuccio, who started her turn by singing Carrie Underwood‘s “Mama’s Song” and, in a shocking twist, ended up rapping Minaj‘s hit “Super Bass” with a few improvised lyrics when asked to sing another song.
The only horrible part of her audition was when we thought Nicki and Mariah would end up feuding again.
