The latest celebrity news has learned that RIHANNA finally opened up about her highly-speculated reunion, saying “we know exactly what we have now.”

By now, Rihanna is very much aware of why everyone disapproves of her being anywhere near her violent ex, Chris Brown. Still, she thinks it’s nobody’s business if she wants to get into bed with him and ride his passenger seat again, now that he has officially ended things with his most recent ex, Karrueche Tran.

The singer has avoided the topic in her every interview for months now but in a new interview with Rolling Stone‘s newest issue, she finally caved and explained why she’s been spending more and more time with her ex.

RiRi told the magazine:

“I decided it was more important for me to be happy. I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of [my happiness].”

Don’t get her wrong, she realizes the risks that she is taking every day that she hangs out with Brown. She explained:

“Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I’d rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it.”

Rihanna sort of begs that we give their renewed romance the benefit of the doubt. She says:

“When you add up the pieces from the outside, it’s not the cutest puzzle in the world . . . You see us walking somewhere, driving somewhere, in the studio, in the club, and you think you know.”

She continues:

“It’s different now. We don’t have those types of arguments anymore. We talk about s–t. We value each other. We know exactly what we have now, and we don’t want to lose that.”

Given that Brown hasn’t exactly kept himself away from trouble, there’s still a chance that he’d start getting physical with her again. But Rihanna argues:

“He doesn’t have the luxury of f–king up again. That’s just not an option. I can’t say that nothing else will ever go wrong. But I’m pretty solid in the knowing that he’s disgusted by that. And I wouldn’t have gone this far if I ever thought that was a possibility.”

She adds in Chris‘s defense:

“He made a mistake, and he’s paid his dues. He’s paid so much. And I know that’s not a place he would ever want to go back to. And sometimes people need support and encouragement, instead of ridicule and criticism and bashing.”

Well, there you have it. Scrap those interviews where she said they are “not together” because they very much are and she has no one to blame but herself if she gets hurt again—both physically and emotionally.

Do you think Rihanna will regret her decision of getting back together with Chris?
