FALL OUT BOY has announced that they will be releasing a comeback album and will soon have their first upcoming tour after a 3-year-long hiatus, entertainment reports.
While Destiny’s Child are preparing for their ’90s “comeback,” Fall Out Boy have also reunited to provide their loyal fans with new music material.
The rock band—whom many thought have broken up in the past three years during which frontman Patrick Stump got married and guitarist Pete Wentz was divorced by his singer wife and baby mommy Ashlee Simpson—has announced that they will be touring again to promote their newest album, “Save Rock and Roll,” to be released in May 6 and 7.
They said on their website:
“When we were kids the only thing that got us through most days was music. its why we started fall out boy in the first place.. this isn’t a reunion because we never broke up. we needed to plug back in and make some music that matters to us.”
They continued:
“The future of fall out boy starts now.”
Along with the announcement, the band released a schedule for their tour. See below:
The best part of the announcement? Their brand-new music video for “My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Uo)” was also been released!
