In recent star news, country singers TAYLOR SWIFT and CARRIE UNDERWOOD are reportedly planning on avoiding each other at the Grammys this Sunday… because they allegedly “hate each other.”

They’re both country singers, they’re both multiple Grammy Award winners, and they both love sparkly dresses… oh, and of course, they’re both blonde and beautiful.

Still, it apparently doesn’t matter how much they have in common, because Taylor and Carrie are never, ever, ever going to be best friends.

An insider tells Us Weekly:

“[Grammy executives were warned to keep Taylor and Carrie] from crossing paths… since they hate each other!”

Why? A friend of the “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer explains:

Taylor feels Carrie is always rude to her, so she steer (sic) clear of her.”

But the animosity may have started after Carrie made fun of Taylor’s well-publicized breakup with Conor Kennedy at last year’s CMA Awards, which she co-hosted with country rocker Brad Paisley.

The Taylor Swift joke started after Brad commented on all the trades happening in the sports world. He said:

“But the greatest trade of the year had to be the Kennedy family, who somehow traded Arnold Schwarzenegger for Taylor Swift.”

Carrie then informed him that Taylor and Conor had actually broken up, to which Brad responded:

“What?! Why don’t I ever hear about these things? I’m the last one to know! Are they ever gonna get back together?”

Carrie answered:

“Never, never, ever.”

She added:

“Like, never.”

Brad, to the delight of the audience, then said:

“Maybe she’ll write a song about it.”

To which Carrie replied:

“Nah, she wouldn’t do that.”

Do you think that’s enough reason for these two women to “hate” each other? We don’t think so…
