The KARDASHIAN sisters appear to be gagged and bound in the back of a car truck in a new Ford ad, which has already been pulled from being used further as a paid advertisement.
Oh, and that’s PARIS HILTON in the front seat!
However, it was never been used as paid media for its seemingly disrespectful message and advertising pitch.
For one, it’s tagline allegedly alluded to the sisters’ curvaceous bods:
“Leave your worries behind with Figo’s extra-large boot.”
As it turns out, there were two posters other posters featuring three people bound and gagged in the trunk with one driver. One featured disgraced former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi driving with three sexy women and another showed F1 driver Michael Schumacher with his rivals, Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso.
Unfortunately for the creators of the ad and Ford themselves, the ads will forever be on the Internet so they had no choice but to apologize for it.
The head of the Indian ad agency that created it ad, WPP, said in their apology:
“We deeply regret the publishing of posters that were distasteful and contrary to the standards of professionalism and decency within WPP Group. These were never intended for paid publication and should never have been created, let alone uploaded to the internet.”
As for the car company, they told the Business Insider:
“We deeply regret this incident and agree with our agency partners that it should have never happened. The posters are contrary to the standards of professionalism and decency within Ford and our agency partners.”
This should teach companies not to resort to making sensational ads to boost sales!
