In recent celebrity news, TINA FEY and AMY POEHLER have just given their responses to TAYLOR SWIFT‘s harsh comment about them in her recent Vanity Fair interview.

During one of their monologues at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards in January, funny women Tina Fey and Amy Poehler roasted Taylor Swift (who had just split up with One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles at the time) by dissing her very controversial love life on stage. And though it was a very mild diss, the Grammy winner apparently did not take kindly to it.

In her interview for Vanity Fair‘s April 2013 issue, Taylor gave a simple (but harsh) response to Tina and Amy‘s Golden Globes slam:

“You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people… Because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved, that said, ‘There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.””

When asked to comment on Taylor‘s surprisingly rancorous response, an unrepentant Tina said (to Us Weekly):

“It was just a joke, and I think it was actually a very benign joke.”

Amy, on the other hand, opted for a more apologetic approach. She told The Hollywood Reporter:

“Aw, I feel bad if she was upset… I am a feminist, and she is a young and talented girl.”

The actress then joked:

“That being said, I do agree I am going to hell… But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff.”

Way to keep it light, Amy! And Tina‘s right, Taylor. Buy yourself a sense of humor, why don’t you?
