MILEY CYRUS has responded to AMANDA BYNES‘ “ugly” diss against her on Twitter.
And surprisingly, she did not engage.
Just like she did with Rihanna, Amanda Bynes launched an unprovoked Twitter attack on Miley Cyrus (right after calling Miley’s fiancé, Liam Hemsworth, the “most gorgeous man on the face of the earth”) by posting a photo of the former Disney star at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards and calling her “ugly.”
Amanda has since deleted the tweet, but given how much attention her Twitter’s been getting these days, a screenshot of the tweet naturally found it’s way to celebrity gossip websites.
In a recent interview on Hot 95.5, Miley was asked about her thoughts on Amanda’s insult. She said:
“I won’t even entertain that thought. I think it’s all so sad and I don’t want to add any fuel to that fire. It’s really so sad to me. I was rooting for her comeback until [she] started attacking me.”
The “We Can’t Stop” singer continued:
“I just thought it was hilarious that she mentioned my name the moment I was the worldwide trending topic on Twitter. It’s just funny the moment you’re a trending topic how many people want your name to come out of their mouth, so somehow they can associate and maybe they can become a trending topic.”
Hmm. Amanda’s just as much a “trending topic” as Miley is, but of course for all the wrong reasons. She doesn’t really need to ride on Miley’s coattails, though, so we don’t think the diss was about getting more attention.
It was probably because of Liam.
What do you think of Miley’s response?
