According to recent star news, KRISTEN BELL is offering fans the chance to win a “date” with her at the upcoming Fourth Estate Leadership Summit, a human rights conference hosted by one of her favorite charities, Invisible Children.
Of course it would.
The actress, who’s also famous for being an animal lover (she particularly loves sloths) and gay rights advocate, is using her celebrity status to gain support for the organization Invisible Children by creating a contest that gives fans a chance to win a “date” with her—or win other great prizes, like a signed headshot or a Skype session (with Kristen too, of course)—simply by donating money to the cause.
In a promotional video for the contest, Kristen explains:
“There is a human rights conference coming up in August called the Fourth Estate, thrown by a charity that is so near and dear to my heart called Invisible Children. And I want to give you guys the chance, the opportunity, to see if you might want to go with me to the conference and be my date.”
She also clarifies:
“Not my date like we’re going to hook up, but my date like we’ll sit at the table together, maybe we’ll hold hands! I don’t know, we’ll see how the night goes.”
The winner will also get to hang out with other stars who are scheduled to attend the conference, like Sophia Bush and Rachel Bilson.
