According to recent star news, SEAN KINGSTON is being sued for $5 million over an alleged gang rape incident back in 2010.
Just a few months after getting sued for allegedly beating a woman and for trashing his rented Hollywood mansion, Sean Kingston is facing yet another lawsuit—which concerns a crime that dates back to 2010.
According to the lawsuit, Kingston, his bodyguard, and a member of his band gang raped a female fan named Carissa Capeloto, who was then underage, in the singer’s hotel room in Seattle in July, 2010.
Capeloto is claiming that she was forced to have sex with the three men while under the influence of alcohol and marijuana.
“Capeloto — who has sued all 3 men — alleges she’d been invited to Kingston‘s hotel room for a meet-and-greet following a Bieber concert — where Kingston had also performed — but when she showed up … Kingston was waiting naked on his bed… [She] claims the bodyguard picked her up and placed her on top of Kingston, and all three of the men proceeded to gang rape her while she was “obviously intoxicated, incapable of consent.””
The site continues:
“Capeloto says her friend later entered the room and rescued her. The police were called and Capeloto was taken to the hospital where she says she was treated for physical injuries consistent with rape.”
Though criminal charges were filed right after the alleged rape took place, they were dropped because the police decided that the victim was not credible enough to launch a case against Kingston.
Three years later, Capeloto is again pursuing the case—but this time, instead of criminal charges, she is simply suing the “Beautiful Girls” singer for no less than $5 million because, as she claims, her “life has been ruined” by the rape.
Kingston, meanwhile, has filed legal documents claiming that his sexual encounter with Capeloto in 2010 was completely consensual.
