Rumors started that Gabriel was behind the split because Halle was too old for him. Her team says via People Magazine:

Halle Berry stepped out with a new mystery man over the weekend! Berry was pictured holding hands with an unknown gent leaving Broadway play “Fences.” He might not be Gabriel Aubry when it comes to looks but he could just help Berry get through as a rebound boyfriend. I guess this split happened months ago. The last time they were pictured together was in August! According to Radar Online:
Sandra Bullock wins an Oscar Award and a RAZZIE Award in the same weekend! Sandra was even a great sport and went to accept her Razzie in person. Not many people are brave enough to do that…Halle Berry was the last one to do it years ago…and I think she also won an Oscar for Monsters Ball that same weekend.
