According to People magazine Jamie failed to make an appearance at her 31st birthday a few weeks back. That isn’t very boyfriend-ly behavior.

“A source close to the pair says that Hewitt and Kennedy were supposed to attend an event together last week, but Kennedy arrived solo. He was also not present at Hewitt’s 31st birthday celebration last month. Lisa Stanley broke the news on KEarth 101, and “Extra” confirmed.”

This is no great shock. J. Love seems mighty high maintenance and the kind of obnoxious one would only be able to handle in small doses.

Happy birthday Jennifer perhaps Jennifer and her boyfriend, Jamie Kennedy will tie the knot too as we reported that Simon Cowell could be heading to the altar as the rumor goes. Rumor has it that Hewitt and Kennedy are set to run off to Vegas and say “I Do”

Of course, there’s no official word when the two will run to Vegas and say I Do, but it appears soon. From the Showbiz Spy:

The Ghost Whisperer star, 30, is set to whisk Jamie— whom she’s been dating for just over a year — off to Las Vegas to marry him.

“Jennifer and Jamie are definitely planning on getting married, but she wants to elope because she was so humiliated over her broken engagement to Ross McCall,” a source revealed.

The source says that while the couple were in Sin City to host a party at Tao in The Venetian Hotel and Casino they “went to Vegas to look at chapels”.

Hmmmm…maybe Jennifer and Jamie secretly did it? Nah, she’d want pictures in the paper. Jennifer seems the type to want to get a bit of money out of the ordeal for herself.

Showbiz Spy reported today that in preparation for Valentine’s Day, Hewitt invited the co-founder of Booty Parlour (a sex shop in L.A.) and a bawdy group of friends over to her pad.

“To set the mood, the ladies played the game ‘What’s Your Sexy Fantasy’ before shopping for such goodies like Booty Parlor’s sexy lingerie, designer sex toys and beauty products.”

And what did Jennifer walk away with?

“The actress bought tons of bedside staples including Melt Chocolate Body Fondue, Skin Honey Kissable Body Topping, All Tied Up Bonding Tape, a Good Girl Bad Girl Feather Spanker, vibrating panties and four types of sexy lingerie underwear.”

Ha. Jennifer is fast moving and controlling, but Jamie must have caught on. It appears he is the one who has cooled. From Fox 411:

The insider tells FOX411 that Jamie is still in contact with Funk, who is Britney Spears’ former assistant, but that the “Ghost Whisperer” star does not know.

“Jamie is still hung up on Shannon and has been telling her that,” says the source. “He also told her he had zero desire to go to the Tao event with [Love Hewiit], but Jen insisted they go together to put rumors to rest. Jamie decided he at least owed her that, so he appeased her and accompanied her to the event even though he’s pretty much checked out of the relationship.”

I hope Jennifer reads this so she knows what’s coming!

Except that it didn’t really happen. Jennifer dumped her other fiance Ross McCall after being engaged for a few years. She hooked up with Jamie quickly and already hinted at marriage with him. But according to People Magazine:

Despite a report published Tuesday that Kennedy had proposed to his girlfriend onstage at the Laugh Factory in Long Beach, Calif., over the weekend, reps for both stars say it’s not the case. “There’s no truth to the report,” says Hewitt’s rep. Kennedy’s rep echoes: “There’s no truth to this report whatsoever.”

Keep your engagement party gift…because the real one for Jennifer and Jamie is surely around the corner. So, no congratulations to you!

With plenty of dating experience under her belt, Jennifer Love Hewitt has decided to write a book, titled The Day I Shot Cupid, addressing romantic relationships that will include everything from tips on text-flirting and how to start over after a breakup.

“I thought it was time to share the real story of what I’ve learned navigating the dating waters.” Hewitt says in a statement from Voice publishers. “Hopefully, in addition to having a good laugh, women reading this will learn from some of my hard lessons.”

So, my first question is – is she really writing it? What ghostwriter was hired to pen this book since Jennifer is busy acting? Second, who wants to read a relationship book by Jennifer when she hasn’t had a successful relationship to date?

According to a source at Gatecrasher, Robert has had the crush to end all schoolboy crushes on Kristen for a very long time. Kristen, reportedly, thwarted his attention and continued to date Michael Arangano, her boyfriend of four years. Jennifer has done fairly well in TV and movie acting. But can she sing? NME says:

Love Hewitt’s boyfriend Jamie Kennedy told People.com that once Hewitt has written enough material, he wants to help her demo it.

“[Jennifer is] writing a country song,” Kennedy said. “I really want to make her a new demo for her music, because I think she should do singing again. She’s so good.”

Of course, any smart boyfriend would say she is good at it. But is she really? Did anyone listed to her 2002 album? How was it? I think Jennifer could be marginally better than Jessica was with the country fans, as long as she stays real. Jessica went all weirdo and it creeped people out, hence, they didn’t buy her album.

She posed for pictures with fans – and worked the merchandise table selling Kennedy’s T-shirts and DVDs.Hewitt has even used her handicraft skills to help boost sales. “She took my shirts and bedazzled them,” Kennedy says. “She would take regular shirts and put sparkles on them, and we actually sold out of them – people go nuts for them.”

Seriously – she puts sparkly gems on them and they sell? This will be the new Hollywood trend…just watch. And Jennifer started it all for her boyfriend.

Jamie has said that he’s madly in love with Jennifer. Not sure if she feels likewise but heck if he’s just the rebound boyfriend, so what? As long as she’s happy and he’s happy.

Jamie Kennedy said last month on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show (March 13, 2009) that he and Hewitt were dating and he was “…madly in love with her.

Let’s hope Jennifer feels likewise. She does look like she’s lost weight as well, doesn’t she?
