As Baller Status reports, Kanye has re-launched his official blog at a new location: KanyeWest.com; it’s no more KanyeUniverseCity. The previous blog home is still active and there is no word if it would be shut down in the future. Kanye’s blog has attracted many readers over the years. It’s a place where West addressed rumors, explained his actions, or just gave you a peak inside his head. It seems that the new blog will also do just that “It’s All About Kanye baby”

His final post on the old site simply reads: “It’s Up”

Lots of stars lined up to be a part of this song. The list includes via MTV:

Instead of Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Cyndi Lauper and the late Michael Jackson (whose previously recorded voice, however, will be heard on the tune), the 2010 version will be headlined by Justin Bieber, Lil Wayne, Wyclef Jean, Josh Groban and Will.I.Am. It features a newly penned hip-hop break written by the Black Eyed Peas leader that makes reference to the January 12 earthquake in Haiti, the victims of which will benefit from the song’s proceeds.

Among the rap artists making the cut for “We Are the World — 25 for Haiti” are T-Pain, Kanye West, Bizzy Bone, Kid Cudi, LL Cool J, Snoop Dogg, Drake, Mann, Nipsey Hussle, Busta Rhymes and Swizz Beatz.

And though rumored participants such as Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake were not in attendance, the sessions did feature a number of current stars such as Miley Cyrus, Keri Hilson and Best New Artist Grammy winner Zac Brown.

There were the requisite classic artists who pitched in, including Barbra Streisand; Carlos Santana; Natalie Cole; BeBe Winans; the members of Heart; Freda Payne; Harry Connick Jr.; Earth, Wind & Fire; the Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson and Al Jardine; Tony Bennett; “Slumdog Millionaire” film score composer A.R. Rahman; “American Idol” judge Randy Jackson; Patti Austin; Celine Dion and Gladys Knight. A few actors were in the studio (Jeff Bridges and Vince Vaughn), as well as the offspring of co-producers Lionel Richie and Quincy Jones, Nicole Richie and “Parks and Recreation” star Rashida Jones, and the members of 3T (the sons of Tito Jackson), Taj, Taryll and TJ Jackson.

Joel and Benji Madden were on hand, as were Akon, Brandy, Melanie Fiona, Mya, Musiq Soulchild, Katharine McPhee, Trey Songz, Faith Evans, “Heroes” actor Jimmy Jean-Louis (“the Haitian”) and former Michael Jackson guitarist Orianthi.

Also pitching in according to a press statement from organizers were the members of Sugarland, Jennifer Hudson, Jason Mraz, India.Arie, Mary Mary, Tyrese Gibson, Raphael Saadiq, Pink, Jordin Sparks, Rob Thomas, Usher, the Fray’s Isaac Slade, child prodigy pianist Ethan Bortnick, Enrique Iglesias, Robin Thicke, Jamie Foxx, Maroon 5′s Adam Levine, the Jonas Brothers, Nicole Scherzinger and Julianne Hough.

Co-producer Richie said that Janet Jackson would be laying down her version of Michael Jackson’s part on Tuesday, and he hinted that some other artists might also be added over the next few days.

Kanye royally made an a$$ of himself at the VMAs and it doesn’t seem people have forgotten. Taylor Swift will be performing on the telecast though. Coincidence? From the New York Daily News:

During a televised goodwill event for Hurricane Katrina victims in 2005, West ranted that “George Bush doesn’t care about black people.”And at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, the rapper surprisingly stormed the stage to interrupt Taylor Swift as she was accepting an award.

“After what he said on the Katrina telethon and the way he behaved at the MTV Video Music Awards, everyone agrees it’s just best that he does not participate,” a source said.

“Kayne has to make everything about himself,” the source added. “He will do anything to steal the spotlight and, well, this night it’s just not about him.”

It’s about time Kanye had some consequences for his behavior. He needs to know rudeness isn’t tolerated, no matter how much you think you are right.

As reports by the NY Post: Kanye’s girlfriend Amber Rose made a tight squeeze into her very tight dress for the screening of “Me and Orson Welles” in NYC earlier this week. At the afterparty Rose peeked her head out of the restroom and asked a random guest to zip her up.

“I have a hard time staying in this thing,” she told the partygoer. “But Kanye loves it.”

For the sake of vanity aren’t we women so aware of this type of situations? We wear tight clothes, painful high heels, put crap make up on our face and man, sometimes I wish I were a guy so I can sit around on the couch all day drinking beer (except working hours of course), smoking cigarettes ( ewww bad breath and yellow teeth) and farting all day long (double ewwww) .. oh dear I have Jon Gosselin in my head.. got to erase that. Hey Jon, I’m just playing.

No offense to our dear male readers, I’m just being playful here. I personally know that guys are NEVER like that. My guy doesn’t smoke;  the drinking part, I am sure he can easily indulge in and I won’t comment on the farting part.. oh it’s Thanksgiving, time for a great laugh! You all know I am just playing right?

One thing I am serious is that this girlfriend of Kanye must be God sent. They are a match made in heaven!

After busting up Taylor’s stage moment at VMA in September and received A BIG DEAL of criticism; Kanye has since cancelled his joint tour with Lady GaGa. 

Now sources say West is planning to spend a month at a Hindu retreat  in Pondicherry, India.

An insider tells Star magazine via Female First: 

“He feels terrible about hurting Taylor Swift and sees it as another sign that his life is going in the wrong direction since his mother died”

I wonder whether they serve booze at the retreat?

Raise your hand if you think it’s because Kanye went to rehab? That rumor has been quietly spread around, so is it true? From TMZ:

Despite the fact that a rep from Live Nation told us YESTERDAY that the concert was still a go … Nation announced they were pulling the plug on the tour today, which was scheduled to kick off in November.

No reason was given — but the VMA backlash and Kanye’s upcoming criminal court date could have been factors.

Does anyone think it was due to poor ticket sales? Nope, because Gaga’s music is rocking the house! So…we’re back to Kanye. Is he headed to rehab?

In Touch reported today that Kanye hasn’t really dealt with the death of his mother and has turned to alcohol instead. The magazine says he hangs at bars and spends a pretty penny on expensive liquor.

Some people are urging Kanye to go to rehab,” the insider adds. “They think he needs help.”

We just sort of wish Kanye West would disappear for a bit. Just a bit. He can release records and whatnot, but let’s give us all a few months away from Kanye. Maybe in 2010 he can check back into the limelight. Maybe.

GaGa also made quite an impression at the VMA having changed five times that night and faked her own ‘death’, hanging from a rope while fake blood spilled from her chest, as she performed her song ‘Paparazzi’.

Wouldn’t you think these two are a match made in heaven.. Well if there’s no Amber Rose..

What happened to you as a child?? Did you not get hugged enough?? Something must have happened to make you this way and I think we’re all just curious as to what would make a grown man go on national television and make a talented artist, let alone teenager, feel like shit. I mean, I’ve seen you do some pretty shitty things, but you just keep amazing me with your tactless, a**hole ways. It’s absolutely fascinating how much I don’t like you. I like everyone. I even like my asshole ex that cheated on me over you…which is pretty odd since I don’t even personally know you. The best part of this evening is that you weren’t even up for THIS award and yet you still have a problem with the outcome. Is winning a moon man that much of a life goal?? You can have mine if it will shut you up. Is it that important, really??

I was actually nominated in the same category that Taylor won and I was excited for her…so why can’t you be?? In case you’ve been in the cave. West jumped onto the stage and grabbed the microphone from Taylor Swift while she was giving her acceptance speech after winning the Best Female Video Award. Kanye wanted to voice his belief that Beyonce had a better music video.

Kanye had apologized for the incident on his blog and again earlier tonight at an interview on the premiere of NBC’s “Jay Leno Show.”

West told Leno he’s going to take some time off to reflect and that “it was rude, period.”

ABC network had issued an apology after the Internet quickly became abuzz over the stunning quote published on the Tweeter.

An ABC spokesperson said, “In the process of reporting on remarks by President Obama that were made during a CNBC interview, ABC News employees prematurely tweeted a portion of those remarks that turned out to be from an off-the-record portion of the interview,” Politico reported. “This was done before our editorial process had been completed. That was wrong. We apologize to the White House and CNBC and are taking steps to ensure that it will not happen again.” – Fox News

Kanye West apologized for an outburst on his blog later one. He said he was sorry for taking away her moment.

Kanye wrote: “I’M SOOOOO SORRY TO TAYLOR SWIFT AND HER FANS AND HER MOM. I SPOKE TO HER MOTHER RIGHT AFTER AND SHE SAID THE SAME THING MY MOTHER WOULD’VE SAID. SHE IS VERY TALENTED!” – via LA Times

That’s Kanye West! It’s not his first Award show tirade, that’s for sure. So Taylor don’t let it affect you personally.

Anyway, the classy Beyonce brought young Taylor back on stage after B’s win of Video of the Year Award. So Taylor at least got a second chance to say something tonight.

Earlier in the show, Swift won the Best Female Video award for “You Belong With Me” over Beyonce’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).” Kanye West crashed the stage during her acceptance speech. Kanye took the microphone from Taylor saying Beyonce has one of the best videos of all time.  Taylor, 19 was left speechless and embarrassed.

The two ladies exchange a hug before Taylor went on to say:

“Maybe we can try this again,”"I would really like to thank Roman White, who directed the video, and Lucas Till for being in it,”  “I would like to thank all the fans on Twitter and MySpace and everyone that came out to my shows this summer. I couldn’t stop laughing looking at these photos. I really think Kanye ought to stick with Amber. He’s met his match.

One thing we know Kanye and Amber are still going strong. They are both very outspoken and it must be tricky for Mr. Big head to deal with a woman who’s as outspoken as himself, you think? We have to ask Kanye whether he’s been able to tame this lioness yet. Or perhaps it’s the other way around, Amber has managed to tame her lion. What do you think?
