Katie Rees, the dethroned Nevada beauty queen has taken a plea deal, agreeing to pay fines for five misdemeanor traffic violations while a resisting arrest charge against her is dropped.  Rees a former Miss Nevada USA, avoided trial by pleading no contest to speeding, operating a motor vehicle without proof of insurance and driving with an expired registration, a suspended license and suspended registration.

She agreed to pay up to $1,312 in fines.

Tara Conner & Cindy Margolis hosted “Top 100 bars & clubs” party last week at Tao’s in Las Vegas. Conner, the former Miss USA, you must remember her right? Tara almost lost her beauty pageant in late 2006 due to a bunch of scandels. News reports claimed she had been drinking underage, tested positive for the use of cocaine, and kissed Miss Teen USA Katie Blair.

Katie Rees, dethroned Miss Nevada was arrested yesterday for assaulting a police officer. Rees, who lost her crown in 2006 after racy photos of her emerged on the internet (click here you will see tons of them NSFW) was arrested shortly before 3 a.m. Wednesday after she allegedly elbowed and kicked officers who pulled her over on a traffic violation, Las Vegas Metropolitan police told the station.

Bad girl former Miss Nevada, Katie Rees celebrated her 23rd birthday in Las Vegas over the weekend, you guessed it – tops were optional. Rees, the boob-licking beauty queen rocked out with plenty of tan line-less babes at the BARE topless pool and lounge at The Mirage, although Rees never changed into her birthday suit — this time.

Apparently, the disgraced Miss Nevada, Katie Rees, is shacking up in the Hardwood Suite in the Fantasy Tower at Sin City’s Palms Casino Resort (Justin Timberlake was a recent guest), and she even had a slumber party there — with her girlfriends (look out!)! Of course, the suite costs a steep $25,000 per night, which leads us to ask, where’s the money coming from?

Tonight will be the televised final and the crowning of Miss America at the Aladdin Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Miss California, Jaquelynne Fontaine and Miss Pennsylvania, Emily Wills were the winners Saturday as preliminary competition drew to a close for the 2007 Miss America Pageant.

Apparently, Katie Rees claims that she doesn’t remember when the photos were taken because she was too drunk.. and was shock to see them.  Guess booze affects people differently and Rees just turns into a trashy slut after drinking. Oops, am I being too honest?

Seriously, being a public figure like the Nevada beauty queen, you have certain reputation to maintain. You can’t going around acting like a whore so I think her losing her pageant was obviously the right thing. What do you think? Do you think having her pageant taken away was what she deserved?
