This is Lauren’s second book. Her first L.A. Candy flared really well and is to be turned into a movie. At 24, Lauren is a smart girl, she’s got Reality TV shows on her resume, a fashion line and two books published. Amazing.

Conrad doesn’t talk about Heidi Montag’s plastic surgery when asked. She said “It’s personal Choice” and “It’s a look” – very diplomatic comment. Lauren seems to have a good head, leaving The Hills when she’s on top and now being a successful writer at 24. Bravo girl!

InTouch reported the falsity, and Lauren responded to usmagazine.com on Wednesday with a curt, “No.”

That’s right — we forgot. Lauren Conrad is way too cool and dignified to give us dirt. Damn her! Where’s Speidi when you need them? Seriously. Where are they? Spencer probably has something to say about a new reality show with Lauren.

She did tell reporters that its been “nice” not having cameras follow her around. Lauren very famously told magazines she couldn’t wear prints or certain unflattering colors on T.V.

InTouch Weekly was actually the one to break this story saying that MTV was the one to extend the famewhore branch.

“Lauren and Kyle have been approached by MTV executives about starring in their own reality series ,” claims an insider. “It will be about their romance or possibly even their married life.”

While we have to fight back the urge to roll our eyes –why not? If we thought Lauren leaving The Hills met she was to vanish from our television screens, we were sorely mistaken.

Tyra hosts the show where someone is chosen to enter the modeling world with a big contract. Lauren has her fingers in fashion – or so we’re told. Kim does a lot of modeling. Perfect matches. From MTV:

Just when you thought Lauren Conrad was done with reality TV — and on hiatus from her fashion career, for that matter — she’s making her way back to both arenas as a guest judge on “America’s Next Top Model.”

In addition to Conrad, Kim Kardashian — star of her own reality show, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” — will also be making a cameo for the 13th cycle of the show, E! Online reports. Both LC and Kardashian are signed on for one episode each.

They might actually have some good input for the aspiring models. Kim and Lauren seem to have their heads screwed on the best of anyone in the reality world. Good luck with the show!

Anywhoo. Spies for radaronline.com told the website that Lauren almost started a bar fight when she told her boyfriend Ryan Gosling hit on her.

“Lauren claims that Ryan Gosling tried to hit on her and she told Kyle, “Who does he think he is? I’m with you. I would never…” At that point we couldn’t stop listening and Kyle said: “I know baby, if I was there I would have set him straight. But sadly, that wasn’t the end of it. Kyle then started chatting with a friend and suddenly there was testosterone in the air, and a lot of it. “Let’s go find Ryan Gosling. Let’s beat him up,” one of them said. And yes, it was funny that they kept calling him “Ryan Gosling” instead of just Ryan.”

Ha ha. An “actor” and aHills “actor” get star-struck, too.

Lauren went on The View Thursday and spilled a bunch of beans. Here’s what she said via Entertainment Weekly:

While promoting her new book, L.A. Candy, former Hills star Lauren Conrad visited The View — and revealed the truth behind Spencer’s on-screen apology for that whole sex-tape-rumor situation. When Elisabeth Hasselback asked the aspiring novelist whether she thought Mr. Pratt’s mea culpa was sincere, Conrad responded: “Umm… I mean…” (Spit it out, girl!) “To be perfectly honest, I wasn’t on the other line of that call… So no, I didn’t get an apology.”

Now that Lauren let the secret out of the bag…secret? Who are we kidding? Is there any one who actually thought it was real? Why does Spencer come off like a bigger jerk suddenly?

Lauren used to be on The Hills with the busty actresses Audrina Patridge and Heidi Montag. Her style is not influenced by the two of them, however. From People Magazine:

“You know what, I prefer a flatter-chested look,” Conrad, 23, tells Access Hollywood. “That’s just kind of me. I think it’s more of a fashion look. If you look at a lot of high-fashion models and things like that, they’re always you know, a little flatter … I like the way clothes fit better.”

“Big boobs?” she adds, “No I mean … that’s what wonder bras are for!”

It’s kind of refreshing to hear someone not want to have huge, fake looking boobs for the sake of stardom. What will all these silicone filled starlets in their 20s do when they hit 50? 60? Lauren seems to be one of the smarter ones to come from that Hills bunch.

Page Six says Lauren wil rejoin her besties, Heidi and Spencer for more fun time, fake drama:

“Insiders tell us she is, indeed, working out her contract. One source said, “She kind of realized, especially in this economy, there’s not much else out there for her. What else can she do that would earn as much?”

This sounds plausible, especially since Lauren‘s “booming” clothing line was forced to take a hiatus. On a side note, fans of Laguna Beach will be happy to hear that fame whore extraordinaire Kristin Cavallari will make an appearance on next season’s Hills as well.

A source at the New York Daily News says producers have been feeding LC storylines, filming her reactions and saving them.

They would literally give her directions like, ‘Now react to Stephanie Pratt being pregnant!’ Lauren would just giggle and go for it. She also had to pretend to react to a fake story line about Audrina and Brody hooking up.”

Oh, wow. Are they insinuating The Hills isn’t real? NO WAY!

Regardless, LC‘s camp is blaming the recession on her break from the fashion biz. Page Six via UsWeekly reported:

“She is taking a hiatus, but the line still exists and will continue,” her rep tells Us. “The sales of her line in the first year doubled what was projected. However, in light of the economy, it’s a good time for Lauren to take a few seasons off to re-work her still budding line.”She will look over the past seasons to determine what worked and what didn’t work so that she may design clothing that will appeal to her fans,” the rep continues.

Uh huh. Likely story. Our take? If the line was selling LC wouldn’t have had to cancel the shipments and take some “time out.”

According to UsWeekly, L.A. Candy is a:

A fictional story about a 19-year-old girl named Jane Roberts who has not-so-subtle similarities to the author. Roberts can’t wait to start living it up,” the official book synopsis says. “She may be in L.A. for an internship, but Jane plans to play as hard as she works and has enlisted her BFF Scarlett to join in the fun.” In the novel, the two main characters are approached by a producer who wants them to be on a reality version of Sexy and the City.

Oh wow. Awesome way to think outside the box, LC. Hope you didn’t hurt yourself too hard in those gut-wrenching creative writing classes.

Last night on The Hills aftershow, Whitney Port debuted the trailer for her upcoming solo reality show, The City. We must wait until Dec. 29 to see the first full episode.

Ooooh.  Another “reality” show.  Are you excited?  MTV has a few in the tube to go in case this one tanks and The Hills tanks.  It seems people are bored with it too…hence the ratings drop.  It seems like poor Whitney is going to pay for crappy reality with her name.

Not surprisingly, Audrina had some things to say. Surprisingly, she can string a sentence together! I thought for sure Audrina had a 2nd grade education.

I didn’t ask to be informed, falsely or otherwise, that my “best friend” and my “boyfriend” were involved in some carnal activity. It was very disturbing to have a rumor, that could have easily been killed, thrown in my face over and over again.

I just want to put it on record that never did I EVER call Lauren a “slut,” “bad friend,” “shady person,” etc… I simply asked her a question and that’s how she interpreted it. I didn’t go around town running my mouth either. I confided in Heidi because she knows how Lauren works and when Lauren hung up on me and was acting like a child, I obviously thought the worst. I do always find it interesting to watch the episodes and see what senseless gossip people come up with!” via audrinapartridge.com

Bottom line, Justin and Lauren treating me like I wasn’t worthy of an explanation was almost worse than the rumor itself, and it only got worse the harder I tried to get a genuine answer.” 

She confided in Heidi? Well, that was her first mistake! Well, no, her first mistake was rubbing her lady parts on that Justin Bobby thing. Any bar in the country could find a more suitable bedmate than that mess.

Anyway, our bets are that Lauren and Justin Bobby shared a torrid 5 minutes (that’s about all Justin Bobby is good for) in some closet. I just hope Lauren took an Ajax shower and visited the free clinic afterward.
