To appease his daughter, Billy Ray backed out of the interview that was supposed to be this week. I wonder how The View ladies will react to the cancel?

“When Miley found out her father was scheduled to appear on ‘The View’ on Wednesday she went nuts,” a family friend tells me. “Only last week, Billy shot his mouth off in GQ, and now he planned to sit down with [Barbara and Whoopi] and talk more crap about his family. No way would Miley or her team let that happen.”

The GQ interview started off a firestorm after Billy Ray’s bombshell that he feels isolated from his daughter, blaming everyone but himself. “I’m scared for her,” he said in the interview. “She’s got a lot of people around her that’s putting her in a great deal of danger. I want to get her sheltered from the storm.”

Do you think it was a nice fatherly thing to do? Is Billy Ray just perpetuating the cycle of Miley getting her way and running the show?

Miley accepted the award over the weekend. Hilary Duff was the hostess of the evening and got to present the award to her personally.

She said at the event: “I got to tell you that I never thought I would get an award from Hillary Duff. This is like a dream come true to me. She inspired me.

“I want [kids] to do something they love. Not something that seems like a chore because someone tells them that’s the right thing to do or what their parents want or what’s important to people around them, but what’s in their heart.”

That’s interesting, considering what Miley has been through lately. Hilary didn’t seem to get in trouble like Miley has been lately. Will the award be enough to keep Miley on the straight and narrow? Who would you have voted to win a youth leadership award?

Miley supposedly told friends she thinks she can convert John in to a regular guy who likes to date one woman. Oh boy!

Apparently they were getting all touchy-feely over Grammys weekend, and she was following him around all night at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party. Backstage at the Grammys, Miley was rubbing John’s back, and when he thought no one was looking, he leaned over and kissed her. “It was quick and intense and a bit shocking, but it also seemed sweet,” an eyewitness claims. “Afterward, Miley slapped his butt and told him, ‘You rock!’. Miley has told friends that she believes she can make John a one-woman man, and thinks they are great together because she’s as wild as he is.

Just the age difference alone with this match up is strange. John is in his 30s and Miley just cracked 18! Do you think there’s any truth to these statements? Miley and her family have a lot going on - hopefully this won’t add to it!

“The next film I’m doing is a French film called LOL… It’s Demi Moore and I – it’s really edgy…

“But I’ll also do a fun film afterwards for all my fans, but if a cool film comes up that may seem a little old for my normal fans then I’m not going to pass it up.”

The multi-talented star’s transition from a teen idol looks inevitable and she even told Newsbeat she wouldn’t rule out doing nude scenes if the role was right. “It depends what the film is,” she said.

“If it’s something that’s classy – it just depends on the circumstances.”

Miley Cyrus is reportedly preparing to move into a $3.4 million (£2.2 million) home situated around the corner from her parents’ house.

According to Radar Online, the Hannah Montana star bought the four-bedroom property in Toluca Lake, CA, last year, but renovations have only just been completed.

It is reported to feature a tennis court, swimming pool, recording studio and a separate two-bedroom detached guest house.

It’s also over 4,000 square feet. What does a teenager need with all that space?

Miley has already announced that she’s no longer playing the Hannah Montana character, and she plans to move out of her parent’s home once she turns 18. Now OK! Magazine is reporting that she is hoping to be wed soon after her birthday. She’s known Hemworth for ten months.

“She’s convinced she’ll spend the rest of her life with him… She’s talking about a wedding as soon as she turns 18. She’s even asked her mom if she can wear her wedding dress,” says a source.

Barb Powell looks at Sandra Bullock and says she wants to go back. She does want a divorce. Sandra loves this man, but everyone is telling her don’t do it. It will ruin her career to be with him and with more rumor pouring in she is deciphering what is fact and what is just media rumor and it’s hard. The hardest part is that she loves her family, including kids…she is not ready for that to end. I believe they will try and work it out in secret if possible, but it won’t work long term.
