Rihanna’s video is banned in many countries and is highly sexual, so many people probably haven’t even seen it yet to be able to make the comparisons!

In the suit, LaChapelle said Rihanna had appropriated eight of his images into the video, such as a shot where she is shown in profile against a blue background with a piece of candy on her tongue.
LaChapelle said Rihanna’s video copied the “composition, total concept, feel, tone, mood, theme, colors, props, settings, decors, wardrobe and lighting” of his work.

He is suing for unspecified damages. A spokeswoman for Rihanna did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Do you think Rihanna copied it – or the actual video producers – or is it a coincidence? Rihanna is very colorful, so it’s hard to imagine that she completely lifted an idea.

It’s been two years since the Chris and Rihanna incident. Can he overcome the anger? Can they get along like they used to before the incident?

In a surprising move, singer Rihanna is allowing the restraining order placed against ex-boyfriend Chris Brown to be lifted, RadarOnline.com has learned.

The 22-year-old songstress has requested that the order be dropped to a level one, so the two can have contact as long as Brown doesn’t harass or molest her.

Although the order has not be officially modified by the judge, both Rihanna and Brown’s attorney’s have been made aware of the impending change.

It’s nice if Rihanna is doing this to forgive and forget. Do you think she is over the anger of the situation?

Rihanna would know bruises! Since the Chris Brown beat down, she’s been taking better care of herself. Except for this accident. From People Magazine:

Rihanna is feeling fine after being briefly hospitalized Monday night.

The singer, 22, who was taken to a private clinic after performing a concert in Zurich, Switzerland, “had an injured rib and went to have it looked at to be sure it was nothing serious, and it wasn’t,” her rep tells PEOPLE.

Rihanna has been pretty quiet since the court date last year. She’s only confirmed a new boyfriend and quietly attended some awards shows. Do you think Rihanna’s career suffered as a result of the Chris incident?

We reported yesterday that Rihanna and Matt could even be engaged. Rumor has it that Kemp popped the question and Ri Ri said “yes”.

MTV reports that Rihanna spill the beans about their romance in an radio interview with Ryan Seacrest yesterday:

“He’s my boyfriend, It’s new and it’s fun and it’s nothing too serious. I don’t want anything that’s gonna take up so much of my energy and time right now in a bad way. I just wanna have fun and that’s what it’s about.”

Just want to have fun, that’s the best attitude. What’s a relationship when it’s all negativity. Who needs that?

“In the law suit, Cindy claims she was hired by the singer to perform “exclusive personal training services” at a rate of $1,500-a-day but wasn’t paid for a few weeks work between September and October.

In addition, the trainer is also seeking $2,644.14 in travel expenses to cover the costs of her travel around Europe to work with the 22-year-old star.”

Joel and Benji Madden were on hand, as were Akon, Brandy, Melanie Fiona, Mya, Musiq Soulchild, Katharine McPhee, Trey Songz, Faith Evans, “Heroes” actor Jimmy Jean-Louis (“the Haitian”) and former Michael Jackson guitarist Orianthi.

Co-producer Richie said that Janet Jackson would be laying down her version of Michael Jackson’s part on Tuesday, and he hinted that some other artists might also be added over the next few days.

Rihanna standing strong at this year’s pre-Grammy party. It must be tough being at the same event just a year later, Rihanna’s infamous altercation with her then boyfriend Chris Brown happened after the Clive Davis pre-Grammy party last year.

The event was a warm-up for tonight’s 52nd Annual Grammy Awards, where Rihanna is up for best rap/sung collaboration for Run This Town with Jay-Z and Kanye West.

Rihanna performed “Russian Roulette” off her new “Rated R” album. I’m finally starting to like this song, you know how some songs you just love rightaway and some take time?

NRJ Awards is France’s top music awards where Rihanna took home best International Female Award.
Rihanna also performed at the Hope For Haiti telethon before the NRJ Music Awards where Rihanna performed ‘Stranded – Haiti Mon Amour’ in London, a collaboration written especially for the ‘Hope For Haiti Now’ benefit.

This is embrarassing. The Black Eyed Peas were mistakenly named Best International Group and it was later revealed that an error had been made and German band Tokio Hotel were the real winners. Now that is LAME!

Rihanna, 21, is currently dating LA Dodgers star Matt Kemp, and an ex-girlfriend of his, actress Felisha Terrell, 30, has revealed his violent past and claims that she took a restraining order out against him in June 2008. “He is violent and I am afraid. He is threatening to take all the items I purchased and try to destroy my property,” The Mirror quoted her as saying. “He brings his friends driving up and down the street to try and intimidate me. I am very fearful. He has other people calling me and stalking me,” she added.

Great. Do you think this ex has a true fear or she’s getting some PR time. This order was filed with police 18 months ago, way before Rihanna came in to the picture. Is Matt bad news for her?

Rihanna has a lot of tattoos, so a new one really isn’t a surprise for it. The message is, however, since it’s backwards! According to OK! Magazine:

“She came in at about 2:00 A.M.,” East Side Ink owner and artist Keith “Bang Bang” McCurdy tells OK! exclusively. “She told me in advance she’d be coming, and then when she got there, she told me what she wanted: ‘Never a failure, always a lesson,’ but written backwards.”

It is a good motto, but why on your shoulder? Rihanna never fails to be on the cutting edge with her hair, her clothes and now her…tattoos! Would you ever have a tattoo put there?

As we reported that Rihanna spoke out about her naked photos and she didn’t feel bad for sending them to her ex-boyfriend in fact she feels bad for guys who don’t get naked pictures sent to them by their girlfriends.

What she didn’t like was having the privacy taken away which is of course understandable

“I just felt like my whole privacy was taken before that and then, when that came out, I thought, ‘oh great, so now there’s nothing they don’t know about me and my private life’.

It was two days before Mother’s Day, so Rihanna was nervous and she sent her mother flowers hoping to make things better.

She tells U.S. radio station Hot 97, “I just felt like my whole privacy was taken before that and then, when that came out, I thought, ‘Oh great, so now there’s nothing they don’t know about me and my private life.

It was humiliating and it was embarrassing – especially my mum having to see that. It was two days before Mother’s Day, so I was nervous. “I sent her flowers first before I called and then she texted me – when the world is against me she’s always there supporting”.
