It was just announced that the 22-year-old actor’s upcoming film, The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud will release on July 30th — the same day as girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens‘ Beastly!

Charlie St. Cloud is a story about a young cemetery caretaker (Efron) who is struggling to let go of his haunted past when an adventurous woman (Amanda Crew) enters his life and causes him to question his commitment to his younger brother (Charlie Tahan) whose death he feels responsible for.

So this means Zac and Vanessa will both be doing tons of press the same week. Will they go it alone or can they figure out a way to do it together?

On if she’d ever go nude for a future role: “Whenever anybody asks me, would I do nudity in a film, if I say that it’s something I’m not comfortable with, they’re like, ‘Bullshit, you’ve already done it.’ If anything, it makes it more embarrassing, because that was a private thing. It’s screwed up that someone screwed me over like that. At least some people are learning from my mistakes.”

Ashley is in town filming The Twilight Saga; Eclipse. However the reason for teen queen Hudgens being there is unclear. Perhaps there is the possibility of her is making a surprise appearance in the film as well?

You don’t really have to wait to catch Vanessa on big screen though. Hudgens stars in Bandslam which is currently playing in theaters. Vanessa Hudgens is part of group of high school outcasts who form a fledgling rock band together their achieve their music dreams and compete in the biggest event of the year.

Wouldn’t you love to see Vanessa in Eclipse? What would she do? Having crush on Edward or she’ll be another vampire like him? Or better yet a werewolf chasing after Edward?

The pics were apparently taken before her first naked photo controversy erupted nearly two years ago. “She learned her lesson,” a source said. “She hasn’t done anything like that since the first ones came out. These new ones are actually old.”

So who has these pictures then and why were they leaked three years later? Is someone trying to boost their career a bit? Why didn’t Vanessa destroy the pictures after the first embarrassing episode? Maybe this is why Zac Efron hasn’t been around Vanessa…he’s tired of the drama…

“I went through my red lipstick stage at 10,” she says. “My mom really let me play, which in the long run has given me the confidence to experiment. Now I wear everything — reds, corals, nudes.” But as any beauty maven knows, getting experimental doesn’t come without a few beauty disasters, particularly when it comes to hair. “I had short hair only once in my life,” she reveals. “When I was 7, I cut it myself, which I think every girl does — once. All of the ‘kids’ from Disney’s High School Musical are wanting to get away from the stereotypical image cast on them of being goodie two shoes. Vanessa appears like she’s doing just that! From the Metro:

‘I’m playing a character named Blondie and it’s set in a brothel in the 1950s, so there’s not a whole lot of clothes.’

‘It’ll be gun training, stunts, fighting and all that craziness. I can’t wait. I’m so excited. I’ve wanted to do an action film for a while.’

‘I think this is my time to really step it up and get to grow up. It will be somewhat different with the content and a few more foul words but that’s the biggest difference.’

I guess of all the HSM people, it’s easiest to see Vanessa doing this role…I don’t know why. They all have great talent, it’s just a matter of when they get offered the roles, I suppose.
