Russell opens up about his love of prostitutes, his engagement to Katy Perry, why he thinks calling former President George W. Bush a retard was a compliment and the Jonas Brothers’ premarital sexual abstinence. Here are some highlights from the Playboy interview.

On his history of having an appetite for groupie sex:
“When I was at my most promiscuous, I was like a charging locomotive…I had a team of experts who took care of finding women for me. They had very specific instructions. It was as if I was talking to a wine steward. ‘I’m looking for something French, a bit fruity, smells of oak.’ [laughs] I’ve reached a point in my life where I understand empirically that this is not the answer. When you sleep with loads of women, it becomes a bit pointless and futile.”

On his stint in rehab for sex addiction:
“The majority of people in sex rehab are just disgusting men. There aren’t hot blondes ripping off their clothes and saying, ‘I’m gorgeous, and I just can’t get enough c*ck!’ It’s just sleazy men wanking off in dark corners.”

On talking about his fiancée Katy Perry in his comedy routine:
“I suppose if I talk about her a lot, it’s going to be odd if I decide at some point to go, ‘Listen, I changed my mind. This is private.’ I’ll make jokes about it, but the rest of the time I try to keep my relationship with her close to the chest. It’s the first time in my life I’ve had something I’ve cared about this much and wanted to protect.”

On the Jonas Brothers’ premarital abstinence:
“I’m not morally opposed to the idea of sexual abstinence. It’s just not practical for me, because I’ve got to have sex…It’s the public nature of it that I find interesting. Michel Foucault, the poststructuralist French philosopher, said that in Victorian society, the preeminence and celebration of chastity was in fact the mirror of hedonism. In other words, if you’re constantly drawing attention to your abstinence from sex, you’re also drawing attention to sex. With somebody like Mick Jagger, it’s all about sex, sex, sex. But with the Jonas Brothers, it’s no sex, no sex, no sex. You see what I mean? The emphasis is still on sex.”

On being arrested 11 times:
“It becomes routine and a little humdrum. You start unthinkingly raising your wrists to be cuffed. And you bow your head automatically as they put you into the back of a police car. Occasionally you’ll encounter an overly vicious policeman who perhaps gets a bit rough with you, and that’s when it gets exciting again. It’s quite similar to promiscuity…Every police officer has something unique about him or her, some part of the arresting technique that makes it special.”

On the backlash he received after calling former President George Bush “that retarded cowboy fella” at the MTV Music Awards:
“When I said it, I thought, Well, this is a statement nobody can possibly have a problem with. I thought it was a very populist thing to do. It was meant as a compliment. I wasn’t remarking on Bush’s mental retardation but the fact that Americans are so forward thinking they wouldn’t object to putting a man with his limited intellectual capabilities into political office. It’s quite a compliment that you let Bush run things for as long as you did. In my country he wouldn’t have been trusted with a pair of scissors.”

On whether his character Aldous Snow will achieve more fame than him:
“If that happens I’ll destroy him. [laughs] Honestly, no, I’d be fine with that. My ego is big enough to compete with an alter ego…I can just pin all my bad behavior and poor decisions on him. ‘Oh goodness no, that was Aldous who was caught drunk driving. I never would have agreed to be in those terrible commercials. That was entirely Aldous’s idea. He must value money more than integrity.’ I can remain in the Van Gogh school of tortured genius, and he can deal solely with the commerce and the tabloids.”

US magazine reports: “I’ve never posed naked before. And Gilles has never photographed for Playboy. I thought showing the real me through Gilles’s eyes would look even better than the real me!” Kelly told People magazine

What Kelly wanted to portray in the pictures are the raw version of her, meaning drinking “beer” and eating “chicken wings for two weeks!” before the photo session started. She added to Us Magazine, “I wanted to show my real body, not some worked out, over-toned body.”

Give it to Kelly at 41, she looks amazing! And more amazing is how she maintains such a great relationship with her ex.

The suit goes on … “Hefner has continued to live the good life and make sure everyone knows it. Hefner remains in the limelight, showing up at media events and at the Playboy mansion … with his girlfriends by his side.”

Aside from baring their bodies, the blonde, blue-eyed babes dish on how much both they and Hef love Mafia movies, their ambition to become “supermodels and actresses” and what really turns them on in a male companion.

“Swagger, confidence, men who are outgoing and have good hygiene,” they wrote. “And of course tall, dark and handsome!”

Does Hef look like he’s tall, dark or handsome in these pictures? The Shannon twins are taller than he is! Maybe that’s why we aren’t seeing Karissa and Kristina in the spotlight much…they aren’t as tactful like Holly Madison or Kendra Wilkinson were.

But despite his romantic relationship with 19-year-olds Karissa and Kristina Shannon, the men’s magazine mogul admitted at the recent Playmate of the Year party at The Palms in Sin City that he still can’t really tell them apart.

“I have one little trick, one has a little mark,” Hef said, motioning to his neck. “Other than that, I don’t know.”

Check out their necks though – they both have freckles on their necks.

If you were one of those twins, and your ‘boyfriend’ admitted he couldn’t tell you apart, wouldn’t you be a tiny bit, say MAD? I guess since it’s Hugh and he is 83 years old, it isn’t an issue.

What’s the matter, no one likes porn anymore? Not so, the internet and video-on-demand has eroded its core brand, the Playboy magazine.

The battered Playboy’s market capitalization is now around $100 million and nobody has been willing to pay the substantial premium that it would take to persuade Hefner to sell. Hef still holds 70 percent of the voting stock of the company.

“Everyone says he’ll never let go, that he’ll take it with him to the grave,” said one source.

I believe in the source. Hefner can’t retire? How else would Hef retire? He loves living his dream and he’s doing just that. There’s nothing wrong, it’s Hugh Hefner and we’ll always remember him to be The World’s Biggest PLAYBOY; for now, he’s the old sex pot.

Apparently, Heidi Montag wants to give her new hubby Spencer Pratt an original wedding gift, which is why she’s going to strip down naked and pose for Playboy magazine. Ha! Would you want that as a wedding gift from your wife?

Montag is currently in talks to bank $500,000 to strip for the popular men’s magazine as reports by Hollyscoop. Hugh Hefner told Hollyscoop about the big news at Playboys 50th Annual Playmate Announcement ceremony in Las Vegas this past weekend.

When asked about the rumored Playboy shoot, Hefner smiled and and said “I think she is going to be.”‘
