Perhaps it’s not Hefner’s ultimate wish but Playboy is a publicly listed company and it has gotten deeper and deeper in the red. Looking out for shareholders’ benefits – a sale isn’t at all a bad idea. Only if they can find a buyer who’s willing to step up.
