Drake and Chris Brown have been regularly sniping at each other over the past year, ever since the widely publicized bar brawl between them and their entourages at New York hotspot W.i.P.

And as everyone knows, the fight, which resulted in a lot of injuries for both parties and innocent bystanders like NBA star Tony Parker, was reportedly over their shared ex-girlfriend Rihanna, who rebounded with Drake following her breakup with Chris—a fact that the “Don’t Judge Me” singer was not happy about.

Since the fateful brawl, both Drake and Chris have been taking turns dissing each other in song… or in interviews. But according to the rapper, he’d love to put the whole beef behind him.

In a new interview with GQ, Drake admits:

“I don’t want my name to be synonymous with that guy’s name. I really don’t. I wish we could sit down… and talk it out man-to-man. But that’s not going to happen.”

He adds:

“I’m not confrontational, but if someone challenges, I’m not going to back down.”

Drake then confirms the report that the fight was about Rihanna:

“It’s embarrassing, the amount of media coverage. Two rappers fighting over the woman. He’s not even a rapper, but still, it’s the last way you want your name out there. It distracts from the music. But he’s made me the enemy, and that’s the way it’s gonna stay, I guess.”

The rapper continues:

“If I think about it too much, I feel it wrapping around my foot… like I get a feeling it could end really badly.”

But luckily, he doesn’t really get a lot of free time to think about his troubles with Chris, because at the moment, Drake has completely immersed himself in his music and is hard at work on his new album, “Nothing Was The Same.”

He’s so focused, in fact, that he hardly even has time for chasing after women:

“You know the way fighters don’t f**k before the fight? Sometimes I feel like I’m so focused on training my body and getting my mind right to create this album that sex isn’t one of my main priorities… If someone is around that I know and trust, I’m down. But I’m not going to end up with some stranger at this party.”

Why all this intensity? Drake explains:

“I feel this great responsibility to see how far can we take it… how out of reach can I set that bar for whoever comes after. While I’m here, I’m gonna keep pushing that bar higher and higher up and make you really work for it.”

Not long after feuding with reality star and porn newbie Farrah Abraham, whom he bashed publicly by calling her a “desperate guzzler of stagnant douche agua” with “tranny-boobs,” Charlie Sheen unsheathed his tiger claws once again and took a swipe at yet another lady who made him angry—his “Anger Management” co-star, Selma Blair.

(On a side note, how hilariously ironic is it that major meltdown survivor Charlie Sheen is in a show called “Anger Management”?)

According to TMZ, Charlie’s whole beef with Selma started after he found out that she complained to the show’s executives that he was “a menace to work with” due to the fact that he was “late all the time” and possessed a “shoddy work ethic.”

This was reportedly unacceptable to Charlie, who felt that she had no right to say those things, as he is the star of the show and can do pretty much whatever he wants.

So he asked ordered them to FIRE her, or he would leave the show… and they did what he said.

TMZ reports:

“Seems producers sided with Charlie — ’cause Lionsgate, the studio behind the show, just released a statement saying, “We are confirming that Selma Blair will not be returning to Anger Management and we wish her the very best.”

Wow. Spoiled brat much, Charlie?

Katy Perry, who is Vogue’s cover girl for their July 2013 issue, is finally breaking her silence by giving us some major details about her divorce from Russell Brand.

Despite rumors that their marriage was in trouble, the world was shocked when the British actor filed for divorce from his wife of 14 months over the holidays in 2011. But apparently, what’s even more shocking is how he told her that he was ending their marriage.

Perry tells Vogue:

“He’s a very smart man, and I was in love with him when I married him… Let’s just say I haven’t heard from him since he texted me saying he was divorcing me December 31, 2011.”

And while it was rumored that the relationship fell apart due to the “Wide Awake” singer’s wild partying (which was not conducive to a recovering addict like Russell) and constant traveling, Katy reveals another side to the coin:

“[He's] hysterical in some ways. Until he started making jokes about me and he didn’t know I was in the audience, because I had come to surprise him at one of his shows… I mean, I have to claim my own responsibility in things. I do admit that I was on the road a lot. Although I invited him time and time again, and I tried to come home as much as I possibly could. You saw that in the movie [Katy Perry: Part of Me]. That wasn’t edited to leave footage out—there wasn’t any footage of him.”

She continues:

“He didn’t like the atmosphere of me being the boss on tour. So that was really hurtful, and it was very controlling, which was upsetting. I felt a lot of responsibility for it ending, but then I found out the real truth, which I can’t necessarily disclose because I keep it locked in my safe for a rainy day. I let go and I was like: This isn’t because of me; this is beyond me. So, I have moved on from that.”

When asked if she dated John Mayer (another well-known ladies’ man) to get back at Russell, Katy responds:

“No, not at all. No, I was madly in love with him. I still am madly in love with him… All I can say about that relationship is that he’s got a beautiful mind.”

She then muses:

“Beautiful mind, tortured soul… I do have to figure out why I am attracted to these broken birds.”

Surprised?

Amanda Bynes has made it absolutely clear that she doesn’t want anyone taking pictures of her, or using pictures of her that were taken before her multiple nose jobs. Basically, she has an aversion to any photos of her that are not “selfies.”

But the retired actress, who has been staying at the Revel Hotel in Atlantic City (where she allegedly freaked out on a stranger for taking pictures of her) over the weekend, broke her rule of “no photos” and allowed some fans to take some with her while she relaxed with them in a hot tub.

The catch? If she didn’t like how she looked in a photo, she made them delete it.

All we can say is, that jacuzzi must have been pretty darn relaxing, because we just can’t imagine Amanda loosening up enough to allow people to take photos with her.

As you may remember, the engaged pop star has been repeatedly linked to drug use ever since she was caught smoking from a bong in 2010 (she later claimed that it was just the legal hallucinogen, salvia). It didn’t help that she’s been spotted with what appears to be joints around Hollywood the past few weeks, either.

And in a candid new interview with Rolling Stone‘s July 4 issue, she’s finally owning up to it. Kind of.

When asked if she was indeed a stoner, Cyrus answered with a laugh:

“You can’t ask someone that and expect them to say yes,”

She then admitted:

“I did a song with Snoop Dogg called ‘Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,’ so people can put it together for themselves.”

But don’t you worry, it doesn’t look like Miley would be having a public meltdown in the future. At least, she doesn’t think she will. She explains, in defense of her “admission” to using weed:

“I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana — people can be mad at me for saying that, but I don’t care. I’ve seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I’ve never seen that happen with weed.”

She continues:

“As long as it isn’t illegal, there are far more dangerous things. And it’s legal in the state of California. So I’m happy to live in California, a place where you can be whoever you want to be.”

That’s just Miley. She’s talked about for showing the real side of her—something that she would never apologize for.

“I’m too honest. But this is who I am. I can’t sing ‘We Can’t Stop’ and then be some shy, closed-off person. The reason I never really loved acting was because you can’t be yourself. I don’t want to be an actor — I want to be an artist.”

On that note, the former “Hannah Montana” star stresses the end of her child star days.

“People thought I was gonna be this dumb white girl that was, like twerking around and had no real thoughts. Since I was 13, I put my work before everything else in my life. Now that I’m 20, I’m putting my life and my career at the same level of importance.”

The same goes with her controversial love life, which she still won’t talk about. When asked about the current status of her relationship with on-and-off-again fiance, Liam Hemsworth, she simply answered:

“I wear a ring every single day. I don’t talk about my personal life, so that’s enough of an answer.”

Got it, Miley.

To be fair, Taylor Swift did say that her exes can also write about her.

John Mayer has just released his newest song and music video, titled “Paper Doll,” and everyone is pretty convinced that it’s his alleged lyrical comeback for ex-girlfriend Taylor‘s song, “Dear John“—her confession of what led to the end of her brief fling with the infamous Hollywood douchebag in 2009.

Now, would it also be so “presumptuous” ofTaylor to think that his new song is about her?

After all, there are very intriguing similarities in their lyrics. For one, Mayer seemed to address Swift‘s reference of herself as “the girl in the dress” when he wrote:

“Here’s a dress of gold and blue / Sure was fun being good to you.”

Secondly, he also sings in the chorus:

“You’re like 22 girls in one / And none of them know what they’re running from / Was it just too far to fall for a little paper doll?”

That one just very hard to miss as it easily reminds fans about Taylor‘s recent hit single, “22.” It could also be a good response to her “Dear John” lyrics:

“I’ll look back and regret how I ignored when they said run as fast as you can.”

If that’s not enough evidence, John also sings in another part:

“And if those angel wings don’t fly/ Someone’s gonna paint you another sky.”

Taylor‘s song, on the other hand, had the lyrics:

“You paint me a blue sky and go back and turn it to rain.”

Isn’t it kind of obvious?

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like we’re ever going to know for sure.

Just think of it as another Taylor Swift song!

We’ve seen Britney Spears a lot this year—both on tabloids for her recent broken engagement from Jason Trawick and her brand new boyfriend, and on television before she quit mentoring on “The X Factor”—but it’s been a while since she actually released some music.

Fortunately, that time has finally come.

The legendary pop star, who is still being rumored to be headlining a Vegas show in the weeks to come, debuted her newest song for “Smurfs 2″ titled “Ooh La La” on Ryan Seacrest‘s show on Monday.

Spears tweeted moments after its release:

“For my two precious boys & the adorable #Smurfs… hope y’all love it as much as they do :)”

During the rest of the interview, she described the song as predictably “straight-up pop… with a young feel to it” and revealed that her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, will be making “adorable” cameos in the song’s music video.

Brit also talked about her upcoming album (to be released later this year), explaining that it’s “nothing like I’ve ever done before,” especially with Will.I.Am in her creative team. She added:

“I think people will be surprised with this album. It’s going to be really different.”

Of course, she was also cornered with a question about rumors of her taking a residency in Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. Brit then clarified to Seacrest:

“It’s quite possible, yes, [but] nothing’s confirmed yet.”

Oh no, she didn’t!

It’s definitely no surprise that Farrah Abraham (also known as the “Teen Mom”-turned-porn star) is being incessantly compared to the infamous sex tape kitten and fame-hungry reality star, Kim Kardashian.

However, the 22-year-old mom of a 3-year-old girl, who is the latest person to be publicly bashed by Charlie Sheen, is not happy about the comparison, especially since she always feuds with the Kardashians.

Farrah tells Metropolis Nights in a new interview:

“I definitely feel it’s an unfair comparison. I have been very successful with other things in my life besides just being a reality TV star. I have books and other things going on in my life that outshine Kim Kardashian.

She continues:

“I feel I just outshine her when it comes to both our personal and professional lives. That’s why I don’t like being compared to her.”

Of course, that wasn’t all she said. Farrah went on to say that they are “two really different people,” citing Kim‘s quickie marriages and the “choices” that she’s made.

The mom of a 3-year-old girl explains:

“Good or bad, I just feel I’m going to be a smarter person. I don’t want to be negative, we’re just different people. I wish her the best, but I’m going to focus on my life.”

We doubt Kim‘s in the mood to care, considering she just gave birth over the weekend.

I “didn’t” do it on purpose!

Obviously, he was lying.

The rapper drew criticism over the weekend when a clip of his music video shoot for “God Bless Amerika,” in which he performed and stomped on top of the U.S. flag, surfaced online.

Of course, we’re not new to his shocking videos, but this was just too serious to ignore. We even suggested that he might’ve been trying to send a message, as the flag was allowed to fall on the ground (on cue) to reveal a group of African-Americans.

Wayne, however, had a weird explanation excuse. He tweeted today:

“I didn’t step on the flag on purpose! It’s a scene in a video where the flag drops behind me and after it drop [sic] it’s just there as I perform.”

The problem is, we can clearly see that he looked down on the Star-Spangled Banner several times in the video. If it was really a mistake, he probably would’ve hopped off it. It’s not like he was seizing, anyway.

Still, we ask… Do you believe Wayne?

Now that Lil Wayne‘s life-threatening seizures have stopped (or are, at least, under control), he has resumed making controversial music videos.

The rapper recently shot the video for his new song, “God Bless Amerika,” and as seen in a shocking new behind-the-scenes clip that has drawn massive criticism from fans and the media over the weekend, he actually performs on top of a huge U.S. flag.

It seems the disrespectful move was done on purpose—probably to send a strong message—as the Star-Spangled Banner was initially held up by men on ladders and was released to the ground to reveal a group of African-Americans standing behind Wayne.

When Angelina Jolie announced that she had her breasts removed after learning that she could get breast cancer, everyone pretty much praised her for her difficult decision.

If you’d recall, her ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton said she was a “tribute to mankind” and her beloved fiancé, Brad Pitt, called her a “badass.”

But don’t expect to hear those words from singer Melissa Etheridge. In fact, she just dropped some statements claiming the contrary.

Etheridge told the Washington Blade:

“I have that gene mutation too and [having a preventative double mastectomy] is not something I would believe in for myself.”

She added:

“I wouldn’t call it the brave choice. I actually think it’s the most fearful choice you can make when confronting anything with cancer.”

But before you start judging, it should be noted that Melissa is a breast cancer survivor herself, who had five rounds of chemotherapy before getting cured. The singer then went on to talk more about the deadly disease, explaining:

“My belief is that cancer comes from inside you and so much of it has to do with the environment of your body. It’s the stress that will turn that gene on or not. Plenty of people have the gene mutation and everything but it never comes to cancer so I would say to anybody faced with that, that choice is way down the line on the spectrum of what you can do and to really consider the advancements we’ve made in things like nutrition and stress levels.”

She concludes:

“I’ve been cancer free for nine years now and looking back, I completely understand why I got cancer. There was so much acidity in everything. I really encourage people to go a lot longer and further before coming to that conclusion.”

In other words, Melissa seems to suggest that Angie could’ve just reduced her stress in her daily life instead of taking the cowardly way out.

Leonardo DiCaprio didn’t need much time to understand the psyche of his “The Wolf of Wall Street” character.

In the Martin Scorsese-directed flick, the infamous Hollywood bachelor plays a money-hungry New York stockbroker who loves sexy model-material women, drugs and lavish parties and just refuses to cooperate in the Wall Street fraud case.

Comedian Jonah Hill, Matthew McConaughey, Jean Dujardin, Rob Reiner and Kyle Chandler also star in the film—to be released in November— based on the memoir of Jordan Belfort, who spent 2 years in prison for his “white collar crimes.”
