Despite being Hollywood’s most vocal vegan, Alicia Silverstone, certainly knows how to pile on the meat. The “virgin who can’t drive” recently birthed a bear…that is to say, a baby boy she’s calling Bear Blu Jarecki. Move over Pilot Inspektor, Moxie Crimefighter, Sage Moonblood and Bronx Mowgli, there’s a new bully magnet in tinseltown…

Celebrity news marks this date as the “Clueless” star’s entrance into the world of motherhood. And what better way to remain relevant in Hollywood, apart from launching a vegan cookbook called “The Kind Diet”, than to join the bizarre trend of inflicting lifelong cruelty to one’s offspring via their monikers.

According to the latest Hollywood gossip, Silverstone and husband, Christopher Jarecki are on cloud 9. Alicia posted this comment about her “beautiful baby boy” on her book’s website:

“We are all three in love! I’m so grateful to this community for all the love, support, good wishes and happy vibes you’ve sent me during my pregnancy…it has been wonderful.”

Don’t worry Bear Blu, you can always have your name legally changed later. Assuming you survive middle school…

Alicia Silverstone is an actress, author, and former fashion model. She rose to fame for music videos for Aerosmith, and is known for her roles in Hollywood films such as Clueless (1995) and her memorable role as Batgirl in Batman & Robin (1997),with her eye-catching black patent leather outfit that showcased her shapely figure.

When she was just six years old, she began modeling and was already acting in TV commercials, the first was for Domino’s Pizza. She acquired some early modeling and advertising work and was eventually cast as “dream girl” Jessica on the episode “Road Test” of The Wonder Years.

Silverstone won several awards for her film performances, including MTV Movie Awards, Young Artist Awards, and an American Comedy Award. She has been nominated for an Emmy award and a Golden Globe Award.

Photogenic Alicia Silverstone made Hollywood news, when she married her longtime boyfriend, rock musician (for the band S.T.U.N.) and basketball coach Christopher Jarecki, in a private beachfront ceremony at scenic Lake Tahoe, on June 11, 2005.

She is also set to appear alongside Sigourney Weaver and Krysten Ritter, in director Amy Heckerling’s vampire film, Vamps, playing one of two vampires who fall in love and face a choice that could jeopardize their immortality. She was offered the role after Heckerling came to see her acting in Time Stands Still.
