Someone take away her license already!

Apparently, after hitting a police car last April 6 and hit a civilian’s vehicle earlier this month, Amanda got herself involved in a hit-and-run incident last April 10th on the 101 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley.

TMZ reported:

“The culprit was driving a 5 series BMW at the time of the accident. The victim gave chase, got off the freeway, but the culprit blew a red light, never to be seen again. The victim was able to write down the license plate number.  She only got a profile view of the woman driving the BMW.”

Authorities later told the female victim that the vehicle was an Enterprise rental car, which the victim later reported to the cops was Amanda Bynes after checking with the rental company herself.

Surprisingly, after ID-ing Amanda from the photo line up at the CHP substation, the the not-quite-retired actress‘ mug shot from her DUI arrest turned up.

Fortunately for Amanda, she was let off the hook. The site reported further:

“Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … the case was referred to a filing officer at the L.A. City Attorney’s Office who immediately rejected it because there was no independent witness fingering Amanda as the phantom driver.”

We’re sure we speak in behalf of American drivers when we say that Amanda shouldn’t be driving at all until she learns how to wait—for her ticket before driving off and for her body’s alcohol content lowers before getting behind the wheel… before she gets thrown in the slammer again.

Wait… she’s driving again?

This is the third vehicular mishap the unretired actress has had in the last three months. In March, she ran away from a cop who was trying to give her a ticket. In April, she hit a cop car while driving drunk.

And now that May has arrived, Amanda got herself into yet another driving-related scrape—she sideswiped another car and ran off.

Thankfully, the other vehicle wasn’t a cop car.

TMZ reports:

“…a man was driving last night near the intersection of Crescent Heights and Melrose Blvd. when he claims he was sideswiped by a Range Rover that was trying to pass him on the right… when the SUV didn’t stop, the guy called police and reported the hit and run. But the guy didn’t let it go there… he began to follow the SUV himself (which wasn’t difficult because there was traffic). We’re told cops responded to the scene and even dispatched a police helicopter to track the SUV, unsure of how severe the accident was.”

When the Range Rover in question was finally caught, the police found out that the driver was none other than Amanda Bynes.

According to TMZ’s sources, Bynes claimed that she wasn’t trying to run from the accident—she simply didn’t know she had hit someone. Nonetheless, the “Easy A” star cooperated with the police and exchanged information with the man whom she hit.

We’re guessing her recent stint in jail for DUI didn’t teach her a thing.

She must have been humiliated!

Turns out Amanda Bynes hoped to continue partying—just hours after her release—at the The Standard Hotel on Sunset Blvd. where she also got her alcohol fix for which she was later arrested for drunk driving. Too bad the child actress and her friends were rejected by the staffers—who are fortunately updated by celebrity news!

TMZ explained further:

“We’re told hotel staff members were aware Bynes had been drinking at the nightclub at The Standard on Thursday evening … hours before her DUI arrest … and didn’t want to be associated with the actress in case she pulled a repeat performance.”

Now if Lindsay Lohan were refused entry to nightclubs way back too, the world would have been a slightly more peaceful place… No word on where Amanda Bynes resorted to get her load, if she ever continued looking.

Wonder who bailed her out?

Amanda Bynes has left jail after being detained for drunk driving and hitting a police car at 3am this morning. In fairness to the former child star, who was released on a $5,000 bail, she doesn’t quite look like she’s troubled enough to be Lindsay Lohan‘s successor, but if she keeps partying and getting into jail, she should bag the crown in no time.

Poor soul. Let’s all hope that she never makes it to celebrity gossip websites with reckless driving and slammer news ever again! It wouldn’t hurt to actually hear about Amanda doing new projects again instead…

Amanda Bynes looked rather normal (and sober) in her latest mug shot taken shortly before star news has learned that she was arrested and put behind bars in the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station for drunk driving and colliding into a cop car just before sunrise this morning.

In the mug shot, the grown up Nickelodeon star seemed to be in full make up, have an ashy gray hair color and a black blazer on.

Unlike most celebrity mug shots, Amanda looked almost presentable enough for an office interview… But she did also look like an older version of Lindsay Lohan. Just saying.

Another run in with the cops while behind the wheel?

Amanda Bynes was just arrested and put behind bars this morning for the suspicion of drunk driving in West Hollywood. Just after her recent run in with the cops where she bolted just after she was given her ticket (she came back for it hours later, at least), the 26-year-old Nickelodeon child star collided with a cop car and was discovered by law enforcements to be unfit to drive.

Bynes is reportedly booked in the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station at 3AM today. The cops currently have her on a $5,000 bail.

PEOPLE reports the police statement:

“A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy in a marked black and white radio car, was stopped at the intersection of … Robertson Boulevard and Santa Monica Boulevard preparing to turn right onto Santa Monica Boulevard when a black BMW driven by actress Amanda Bynes attempted to pass the right of the radio car, colliding with the right rear quarter panel of the radio car.”

The report added:

“”There was minor paint transfer damage to both vehicles.”

Looks like Amanda had been a little too careless when it came to her driving. Guess that’s what happens when you don’t have much work and are left with a lot of time to party in the town…

Someone please take her car away!

Who thinks Amanda should start going back to work and become more responsible for her actions?

Amanda Bynes is the latest celebrity to get busted for using her cellphone while driving. However, the gorgeous blonde, who “retired” from acting in 2010 and then immediately “unretired” after just one month, might be the first to actually give all of her information the officer who pulled her over… and then speed off before he can make her sign the ticket.

How bizarre.

TMZ reports:

“Bynes was originally pulled over for talking on a cell phone while driving yesterday afternoon. The officer approached the car and collected all of Amanda‘s information so he could write up the citation. “

The site adds:

“Amanda didn’t feel like waiting around … and hit the gas before the cop could hand over the ticket for the actress to sign.“

But maybe she was just in a hurry, because later that day, Bynes dropped by the police station to sign the traffic ticket she ran away from.

Unfortunately, she’s not entirely off the hook, because the authorities are reportedly considering bringing further charges against Amanda for running from the police… even if she did come back.

Should Amanda be charged for fleeing the scene (of the heinous cellphone crime), or should she be pardoned since she came back to sign the ticket anyway?

So why the sudden change of heart? She has a movie to promote! Bynes new comedy, Easy A, will be in theatres in September and she wants your ticket money. She tweeted: ‘I’ve unretired.‘

Which makes on wonder why she would go through all the trouble of saying she quit to begin with — was this just a cheap publicity stunt from the very beginning?

Amanda tweeted Sunday that acting is no longer fun, so she’s out of the game.

“After a highly successful run as a child actress on Nickelodeon, her career began to sputter. She was fired this spring from the Farrelly brothers’ film Hall Pass, according to a person familiar with the project. That seems to have coincided with a break within her that Bynes is now enacting in public. Her Twitter feed has become a place for what seems like compulsive oversharing, not just about retiring, but other random topics as well—for example, her interest in trying magic mushrooms and her sexual attraction to black men.”

Yes, Amanda Bynes did write that she is attracted to black guys on her Twitter Sunday — but is tha reason for Hollywood to dismiss her? Do you believe the columnist or do you think Amanda just needed a break?

Amanda had a show on Nickelodeon before JL Spears had Zoey 101.  Amanda was funny and clean, but Jamie Lynn was more of a draw, mostly because of her name.  Amanda was dropped and then went on to appear in movies.  Jamie Lynn was picked up for Zoey 101 and got pregnant.  Who do you think the Nickelodeon wishes they had kept now.  Yeah, she might not drive well but she didn’t cause a teen pregnancy uproar!

TMZ says she didn’t suffer any injuries and was released.  Hopefully to a chauffeur.

Of course Amanda is a giant compares to little Hayden. Amanda is 5 feet 9 1/2 and little Hayden is very very petite but their faces have strong resemblances, don’t they? Both very sweet looking!

The best part of it is she’s not a party animal like a lot of the young Hollywood stars, she’s never been to rehab nor has she ever been arrested. Now that’s a good Hollywood role model for young kids that we so lack these days.
