American Idol announced that regardless of Paula Abdul not returning, they’re still looking for a fourth judge. Earlier this week, Paula Abdul alerted the masses that she won’t be returning to the wildly popular show. Although no concrete reason has been cited, we reported (via The New York Times) that it was probably due to money issues. Namely, Paula isn’t getting enough.

American idol will be adding in a fourth judge to the mix.  That means Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul will be sharing duties and opinions with another.  And her name is Kara DioGuardi, who is a Grammy winning songwriter.  She will debut on the show when it returns in January.
