((Amy Winehouse’s husband Blake-Fielder Civil has been arrested over an alleged $400,000 plot to fix a trial. The arrest came hours after police used a battering ram to smash down the door of the couple’s London home on Thursday (08Nov07). Fielder-Civil, 25, is being held by police at a North London police station on suspicion of perverting the course of justice with three other men aged 19, 22 and 25.
Amy Winehouse arrived to see pal Kelly Osbourne perform in a West End show dressed in a classic trenchcoat – but there were still signs that all is not well with the singer. According to The Sun, Winehouse has been admitted to the Causeway rehab centre in Essex, a remote $20,000-a-week retreat.
Reports elsewhere had suggested that Winehouse had flown to the US to undertake drug treatment, but it is now believed that she has remained in the UK, at Causeway, which is located on a private island off the coast.
