Amy Winehouse collapsed yesterday and was rushed to the hospital in St. Lucia. Amy has been vacationing in the Caribbean island for a few months in order to kick a pretty severe addiction to crack and heroin. She had been on replacement drugs that ran out, which caused her body to convulse and shake.

An eye-witness told The Sun:

She looked in a terrible state, a shaking mess. The people with her were very concerned.

Amy Winehouse is hospitalized again and it sounds serious. While her agent and publicist say it was a reaction to medicine – how many reactions can one person have?? – friends are saying otherwise.   They spill details about the fight and subsequent binge Amy went on over the weekend…

It seems that Amy was talking to Blake over the weekend.  The Sun has a source that tells how the night really went down:

Amy Winehouse returned to the London hospital she left last Friday for ongoing treatment. Hm, suspicious. Amy was released last week after treating a chest infection. Wow, a few years of heavy smoking (cigarettes, crack, and everything in between) can lead a 25-year-old into the same amount of medical treatment as your run-of-the-mill geriatric. Amy had premature “scarring of the lungs” earlier this year. Yikes!
