It appears that Katy, who looks nothing like her real self in this artistic, black and white photo, has become the latest Photoshop victim in Hollywood, joining the ranks of naturally gorgeous female celebrities such as Britney Spears (whose body was heavily Photoshopped for her Candies ad campaign back in 2010), Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, and frequent Photoshop fatalities, the Kardashian sisters.

The “Last Friday Night” singer, who was photographed by Mikael Jansson and styled by Karl Templer, looks more like the late Amy Winehouse—thanks to the messy beehive and winged eye makeup—or full-lipped brunette beauty Megan Fox.

Either way, we cannot deny that Ms. Perry looks stunning in this photo… even if it doesn’t necessarily look like her!

Eva‘s currently filming the Leo Carax-directed movie in Paris, which is a film about a man who travels between multiple parallel lives. And it looks to celebrity news that Eva‘s traveling a nearly parallel life decked out in vintage Amy Winehouse. She carries the look so well, it’s almost uncanny…

Apart from the beehive hairdo dyed a deep shade of magenta, Eva‘s also wearing heavy kohl eyeliner and rosy lips just like Amy did.  Surprisingly enough, the new hairstyle’s red tones bring out a kind of translucent quality to Eva‘s skin, which normally bears the duskier hue of her Latina heritage when she’s a brunette.

Eva stars with Kylie Minogue and Denis Lavant in the film that’s scheduled to be released in the spring of 2012. Interestingly enough, Eva‘s new look coincides with the release of Amy Winehouse‘s posthumous album, “Lioness: Hidden Treasures,” a collection of songs the “Rehab” singer recorded throughout her career.

Some of the songs are re-recordings of Amy‘s previous hits, such as a demo version of “Wake Up Alone”, and a slow version of “Tears Dry On Their Own”. Fans will also be treated to “Body and Soul”, a duet Amy sang with Tony Bennet shortly before she was found dead in her home.

In other words, she drank too much.

Amy Winehouse’s cause of death was ruled “death by misadventure” by British coroner Suzanne Greenaway earlier this week. An autopsy on Amy’s body revealed that her blood-alcohol level was about 4.5 times above the drunk-driving limit. It was around 416mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood.

The coroner said:

“She had consumed sufficient alcohol… and the unintended consequence of such potentially fatal levels was her sudden and unexpected death.”

As previously reported, Amy had been abstaining from alcohol prior to her death. However, she “resumed drinking” a couple of days before her death. A spokesman for the Winehouse family shared:

“This is closure of sorts but I don’t think they are relying on this verdict… They are a very close family and they know how Amy was in the days before her death. As always they have been overwhelmed by messages of love and support and are looking forward to concentrating on the foundation so that something good can come out of this.”

Previously, star news noted Edwards seemed to have developed a predilection for “Baby” singer Justin Bieber, creating nude statuettes of him and girlfriend Selena Gomez, as well as a representation of Bieber‘s penis using Looney Tunes characters. This time around, Edwards has moved on to the late “Back to Black” singer, Amy Winehouse, who he portrays in all her skeletal glory, including the surgically enhanced breasts she got the year before.

“I thought of her as a beautiful fairytale princess, waiting to be rescued from fame and addiction, but her prince never came. I had always expected to sculpt her portrait, but I was waiting for her to put some of her troubles behind her. She made me pay attention to contemporary music again.”

Edwards says of his Amy Winehouse tribute, which he says he created in part due to the demand from his Facebook fans.

Edwards has gained renown for his nude bronze statues of celebrities, such as a naked Angelina Jolie nursing her newborn twins, a naked Britney Spears giving birth on all fours, an octopus Octomom with a feeding bottle and her eight youngest babies.

According to sources close to the couple, Blake used Amy‘s obsession with him to get her to buy him heroin and cocaine, substances which he introduced to her during their stormy marriage that led to her downward spiral.

Blake had other ways to extort money from Amy, too. A friend told celebrity news:

“He’d charge her £150 just to kiss him and get near him. They’d be sitting, having a couple of drinks and she’d be trying to snuggle up to him. She’d say, ‘Give me a kiss, sailor.’

“He’d do, ‘F**k off, Give me some money then’ – and she’d go, ‘Blake, Blake.’ He liked her but he didn’t love her.

“She’d pay for him to get cabs to wherever she was. She’d pay £150 for a cab. This was the pattern throughout their relationship.”

Blake, whom Amy divorced in 2009, is still serving time in jail for burglary and possession of an imitation firearm, and is trying to make the public believe he was a good husband and had Amy‘s best interests at heart.

Fred Perry has released the AW11 Amy Winehouse for Fred Perry Collection, a 30-piece retro-inspired line created by the late Grammy winner, entertainment news has learned.

“Amy‘s new Fred Perry collection out now,”

Amy‘s father, Mitch Winehouse tweeted earlier in the week.

“It is fabulous. All profits to Amy‘s foundation.”

The collection includes houndstooth miniskirts, cropped cardigans and polo shirts, and accessories like as bowling bags and penny loafers.

“Amy was passionate and dedicated to the collaboration and her signature style is clearly stamped across each piece.”

The results from Amy’s toxicology tests have finally arrived—exactly a month following her untimely death—and they are quite shocking. As per the findings, the “Back To Black” singer did not have any illegal substances in her blood (though there was alcohol), which disproves the belief that she died from a drug overdose.

Or does it?

Amy may not have taken any illegal drugs prior to her death, but what about prescription medicine? According to TMZ, the Winehouse family did not say whether there were traces of the legal type of drugs in her system, which is just as likely to cause death if taken in large amounts or if mixed with alcohol.

The Winehouse family released the following statement:

“Toxicology results returned to the Winehouse family by authorities have confirmed that there were no illegal substances in Amy‘s system at the time of her death.

Results indicate that alcohol was present but it cannot be determined as yet if it played a role in her death.

The family would like to thank the police and coroner for their continuing thorough investigations and for keeping them informed throughout the process.  They await the outcome of the inquest in October.”

Kanye took the Grammy award-winning soul singer’s hit song, “Back To Black,” and gave it a hip-hop spin. The rapper reportedly re-recorded the track and is hoping to perform it in London for the Moss Bros’ 160th anniversary celebrations. A source shares:

“It’s pretty emotive. It’s Kanye singing from the heart – with synthesizers.”

According to the British media, Amy’s father, Mitch Winehouse, recently noticed that a lot of important things have gone missing from the late singer‘s home—and not just expensive things like big screen TVs and laptop computers—and he believes it to be the work of burglars.

The thief (or thieves) reportedly stole Amy’s unreleased music, lyric books (which also contained the lyrics for her third album), guitars, and even some personal letters.

Amy’s people have reported the missing items to the police, but as of now there are still no leads on the identity of the sick culprit.

Hollywood gossip websites listened in on Gaga‘s interview at Rolling Stone magazine, where the “Born This Way Singer” declared Amy to be the best young artist she’d ever met:

“It’s just too tragic. I wanted to talk to her and tell her that if she doesn’t stop she’s going to die. I wanted to talk her out of the drugs, but unfortunately I never had the chance to talk to her.”

Reg reportedly proposed to Amy—complete with a diamond ring—a few weeks before she passed. The couple had kept their big news under wraps for unknown reasons.

The British film director was every bit the devastated boyfriend (or should we say fiancé?) as he told celebrity news that Amy seemed happy and healthy before her sudden and tragic death two weeks ago.

Reg and Amy have been dating on and off since 2010. This would have been Amy’s second marriage—her first was to Blake Fielder-Civil, who is currently in prison for assault and violence.

“I don’t feel that Amy needed to learn any lessons…I felt that the lesson was for the world to be kinder to the superstar. Everyone was so hard on her and everything that I knew about her was that she was the most lovely and nice and kind woman.”

So blast you world for being so unkind to Amy Winehouse…you drove her to drink and drugs, and Mother Monster’s holding you all accountable for it.

Star news says drug rehabilitation centers in the UK are run mainly by local government health centers for which there are long waiting lists, or expensive private clinics that only the rich can afford. Amy‘s dad is looking to set up the Amy Winehouse Foundation to help young people avoid the same fate as his daughter.

“This isn’t only important to me, this is important to our whole country. There’s hundreds of thousands of young people in situations today that could be avoided, and these are our future policemen, doctors and lawyers and solicitors, that we could help.”

Mitch has said.

Opposition Labour politician Keith Vaz promised he and other lawmakers would look into this request, further thanking Mitch Winehouse for speaking “from his heart, drawing on his experiences”.

If the politicians are only going to “look into it“, then we bet we’re going to lose many more supremely talented people like Amy Winehouse before the decade is over.

Celebrity news says the posthumous album will cover the period after 2006 when Amy was undergoing a tumultuous time in her life, including her drug co-dependency with Blake who introduced her to crack and cocaine, the frequent public brawls they had, and his eventual incarceration for assault and bribery.

A rep for Amy was quoted as saying:

“People who have heard the new songs say that they are as autobiographical as ever. The period after 2006 was when Amy went through the most emotional upheaval, with Blake going to prison and then their divorce.”

Amy and Blake divorced in 2009 after he was released from prison for the first time.

The allegation was made by Tony Azzopardi, a drug “fixer” who claims that the “Rehab” singer approached him outside a pub and asked him to help her buy some drugs. He says that he and Amy met with a drug dealer (whom he called “Mr. Big”) and bought £1,200 (around $2,000) worth of heroin and crack cocaine.

As to the reason why he decided to spill the beans on Amy’s late-night drug transaction, he explains:

“I want Amy’s family to know the truth about what happened… I want to help them out – but I’m worried about my safety.”

Despite Tony’s “good intentions,” Amy’s family refuses to accept the story because they believe that Amy was trying to get clean right before she died, and that she had in fact succeeded in quitting alcohol, which is why they think the cause of her death was alcohol withdrawal.

Also, it’s a pretty strange story because although Tony’s claim seems believable due to Amy’s widely publicized destructive lifestyle, the authorities did not find traces of drugs or any evidence of drug use in the singer’s home.

Star news said Dannika, who currently lives with her poverty stricken family including a grandmother who run a small beach bar near Amy’s hotel in St. Lucia is still in shock about Amy‘s passing:

“Amy was already my mother. I would call her mum and she would call me her ¬daughter. She took care of me and we had fun together. I loved her and she loved me. She was the most amazing person and I was looking forward to living with her here or in London. I cannot believe she is gone. This is the worst thing that ever happened to me.”

According to Dannika’s grandmother Marjorie Lambert,

“Amy loved Dannika with all her heart. I don’t know why Amy took to Dannika above all the other children on the island, but from the moment they met they were ¬inseparable. They would spend all day playing, horse-riding and walking up and down the beach hand-in-hand. Amy used to beg me, ‘I want to adopt Dannika. I want to take her to England.’”

In fact, Amy had already spoken to both of Dannika’s estranged parents about adopting the child and had secured their agreement. She had promised to visit St. Lucia soon to take Dannika with her before she died.

Before passing out some of his daughter’s clothes, Mitch told Amy’s loyal fans:

“I can’t tell you what this mean to us. It really is making this a lot easier… We’re devastated and I’m speechless, but thanks for coming.”

It has been a week since Amy’s tragic passing, but the official cause of her death has not yet been revealed. Mitch, however, is adamant that her death was not caused by a drug overdose, but possibly by alcohol withdrawal. He tells celebrity news:

“Three years ago, Amy conquered her drug dependency… The doctors said it was impossible, but she really did it. She was trying hard to deal with her drinking and had just completed three weeks of abstinence.”

Poor guy. For his sake, we really hope (although it seems naïve to think so) that Amy’s death was not due to a drug overdose.

There’s a website that has been around since 2007—the same year Amy got hospitalized for overdosing on a cocktail of various drugs—and it’s primary purpose was to take people’s guesses on when Amy would die. The one who guessed correctly would receive a brand spanking new iPod Touch and would be crowned Mr. or Mrs. Death.

We know a lot of people—even Amy’s mother—believed that the “Rehab” singer might not live a long life due to her destructive lifestyle, but actually taking bets on it is just really SICK.

Two days after Amy’s tragic passing, the site posted a note:

“Since we launched this site we’ve had hundreds of thousands of hits, 237 hate mails telling us we’re the devil in disguise and 96,026 people who left their predictions.”

The evil creeps added:

“Out of all those entries only 4 were correct. The first person to do so did it on December 21st 2007 and we’ve called her the winner of the iPod Touch. We will be contacting her via email.”

How nice. Maybe it’ll come loaded with all of Amy’s songs.

Celebrity news heard a source quoting Amy‘s father Mitch:

“He said doctors had told Amy to gradually reduce her intake of alcohol and to avoid bingeing at all costs. Amy told him she couldn’t do that. It was all or nothing and she gave up completely,”

The source explained.

“Mitch said the shock of giving up, after everything she had been through over a bad few years, was just too much for her to take.”

Toxicology reports from Amy‘s post-mortem won’t be available for quite a while, but Amy‘s family believes she ignored her doctors’ advice to quit drinking gradually and went cold turkey instead, which caused such a shock to her system and lead to her death.
