Brad Pitt has no desire to be mayor of New Orleans. Earlier today, some fictitious item hit the web where Brad was quoted saying he wanted to run on a platform of legalizing gay marriage, no religion as well as legalizing and taxing marijuana. Ha. Sounds like a dream candidate. Alas, the Pitt thinks he wouldn’t have a chance.

He was on The Today Show this morning and Ann Curry (bless her heart) was trying her damnest to get some sort of future in politics admission out of the actor. She was really trying. Brad, that clever manx, wouldn’t take the bait. Check out the video below, where Ann asks three or four times if Brad wants to run for mayor.

Brad Pitt enacts the ‘No Touch’ clause in his interview contracts now. After Brad’s interview with Ann Curry for the Cannes Film Festival where she caressed his face, Brad hit his lawyers. He doesn’t want to be touched!

Ann Curry is from the Today show on NBC and has interviewed both Brad and Angelina Jolie often. I guess she won’t anymore! From PopCrunch:

Brad Pitt has added a no physical contact clause to his existing publicity contract, prohibiting interviewers from touching him during chats — and it’s all thanks to Ann “Good Morning, Good Morning” Curry of NBC’s The TODAY Show.

Ann raised the eyebrows of a many a viewer on TODAY’s May 20 broadcast after she unexpectedly squeezed Brad’s face during a Cannes Film Festival promo interview for the World Premiere of his new WWII drama, Inglourious Basterds.

Well, Brad’s had it with grabby interviewers. From here on out, any journalist who wants to sit down with one of Hollywood’s hunkiest dads will have to first agree to keep their paws off the pretty boy.

Do you buy this story or is it BS? I’m not sure Brad would really do this, but hey, I’ve heard of more drastic measures. What I really want to see is Ann’s statement regarding this ordeal…

Brad Pitt was interviewed by Today show anchor Ann Curry, and instead of an objective reporter, Ann was reduced to a giggling school girl. Or so says The New York Daily News. Brad Pitt is at the Cannes Film Festival promoting his Quentin Tarantino-directed flick, Inglourious Basterds, and leaving ripples of lustful admirers in his wake.

According to the paper, Ann couldn’t keep her hands off Pitt and touched him several times throughout the 7-minute interview.

Women who watch the ‘Today’ show are really envious of me right now because I get to stand here in Cannes talking to you,” Curry said to the actor before asking him if he had anything to say to those said adoring female fans. But Pitt didn’t seem quite as comfortable with focusing on his sex symbol status, attempting to redirect the conversation back to his film. Look, he’s blushing,” Curry says to the camera, before getting back to the film business.”
