It seems security cameras caught the cheating bodyguard around the hotel.

Prosecutors in the Anna Nicole Smith drug conspiracy trial want to exclude evidence we haven’t heard before — that Anna’s bodyguard was having an affair in the hotel where the bodyguard’s wife found Anna dead in the bed.

According to docs, bodyguard Maurice Brighthaupt, aka “Big Moe,” was having an extramarital affair with a woman at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino when Anna died. How, you ask, do prosecutors know? Turns out when detectives were checking surveillance and other video evidence, they saw the telltale footage.

I guess you should be a little more careful sneaking around in a place full of cameras! Anna Nicole will probably still be in the headlines in ten years, with all of the court cases, etc. It’s nice though that Dannielynne is getting a normal life, away from the spotlight.

Smith had a highly publicized second marriage to oil business multimillionaire, J. Howard Marshall. He was 62 years older than she, this sparked much Hollywood gossip. Anna was the source of much more Hollywood news when Marshall died; she fought in court for half his fortune.

In 1992 Smith was chosen by Hugh Hefner to appear on the cover of the March issue of Playboy. Given the name “Vickie Smith”, she wore a low-cut evening gown. The centerfold was photographed by Stephen Wayda. Smith said she would be “the next Marilyn Monroe”, and did become one of Playboy’s most popular models.

In 2002, she debuted in her own reality TV series on the E! cable network, The Anna Nicole Show. The debut of The Anna Nicole Show was the highest rated series on the network, but critics blasted it and ratings dropped with each successive week. However, it achieved a cult following, especially from college fraternities.

On February 8, 2007, Anna died from an overdose of prescription drugs. In the final six months of her life, Smith was the source again of Hollywood gossip news, over the death of her son, Daniel. Also there was a custody battle over her biological daughter Dannielynn. Hollywood and the world will miss the outspoken photogenic, beautiful Lady who left us young like Marilyn Monroe.

Anna Nicole’s estate guardians are not happy! I smell a lawsuit coming! From TMZ:

Some Las Vegas escort service is handing out flyers advertising a $25 romp next to a photo of a woman named Mandy — problem is, Mandy is really Anna … and unless we’re unaware of some crazy reanimation thing — the escort service is totally breaking the law.

Ron Rale, the lawyer for her estate tells us, “Nobody is authorized to use Anna Nicole’s image, name or likeness without the appropriate consent from her estate. We will immediately look into this.”

The escort agency probably hired a cheap graphic designer to do the work and they just grabbed a photo of a hot woman. To their benefit, they might not have even known who it was they put on their flyer. Ooops! Better luck next time…

Last month charges were brought against Stern and Dr. Khristine Eroshevich and Dr. Sandeep Kapoor for illegally funneling drugs to Anna. California attorney general Jerry Brown is standing by his word and responded to CNN.com”

“The fact is that the Bureau of Narcotics, the Drug Enforcement Agency, the State Board of Medical Examiners and the Los Angeles district attorney have all validated this prosecution,” Brown said in a statement to CNN. “These people are whistling in the dark if they think this accusatory rhetoric is going to save them.”

Anna Nicole died a little over two years ago in the Bahamas from prescription drugs.  It was ruled an accident, but someone had to have supplied her with all the pills. From People Magazine:

Stern, 40, a fixture at Smith’s side for years who once claimed to be the father of her daughter Dannielynn, has been formally charged with conspiring to furnish drugs to Smith prior to her death, prosecutors said Thursday.

He was arrested and booked by police in Whittier, Calif., with bail set for $20,000, police records show.

Also charged with felonies were two doctors, Sandeep Kapoor, 40, and Khristine Eroshevich, 61, who allegedly prescribed medication unlawfully to Smith, according to the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office.

Kapoor also was arrested and booked in Whittier. A warrant was issued for Eroshevich’s arrest.

The conspiracy counts allege the three defendants conspired to provide controlled substances to Smith from between June 2004 and January 2007. They also were charged with “prescribing, administering or dispensing a controlled substance to an addict,” among other charges.

It is a sad case, but hopefully justice can be served.  I really don’t think Howard intended to hurt her, I think he was mesmerized by her.  He did whatever Anna asked and she probably asked for ‘something’ to make her feel better.

Larry Birkhead, the baby daddy and boyfriend of Anna Nicole at the time – has taken to a low key life, supposedly in Kentucky.  Which is probably good for the child, no great for the child.  She can lead a relatively normal life, except when her birthday rolls around, and the anniversary of her mother’s death.  Larry has done a good job keeping her out of the spotlight lately. 

Tom and Katie Cruise could use a few lessons for keeping kids out of the spotlight.

Birkhead attended an auction over the weekend where Marilyn Monroe’s lingerie was auctioned off. Larry won two pieces and was extremely happy about it. He said he wanted to have a piece of something for Dannielynn to remember her mother by.  According to E! he paid $1800 for a pink bustier and $1,000 for a white negligee.  Money well spent?

Ahhh, isn’t Anna Nicole Smith her mother? Not Marilyn Monroe. Why would Marilyn’s underwear remind Dannielynn of her mother? Who knows…Anna Nicole copied Marilyn, but she never shared underwear as far as I know. Weird or not?

Larry Birkhead still has had a little public profile, but for the most part he has kept Dannielynn out of it.  Her birthday was another matter, but that was excusable.  It was her birthday, afterall!  He has purchased a home in his hometown of Louisville (Kentucky) which is 10,000 square feet!  That’s enormous!  He’ll need to put a beeper around Dannielynn’s neck to keep track of her…

Just when you thought things can’t get more complicated..

The soon-to-be released book by former MSNBC journalist Rita Cosby describe how Anna Nicole and her friend allegedly caught Stern and Birkhead with their shirts off and their pants around their ankles in a Los Angeles home.

Jackie Hatten, described in the book as one of Anna Nicole’s closest friends, said the men were engaged in oral sex.

The shocking book accuses Birkhead and Stern of cutting a secret deal after Anna Nicole was buried in March, with Birkhead getting custody of Dannielynn in return for Stern being named executor of the Anna Nicole Smith’s estate.

In case you didn’t know, Trendy is an interior decorator, designer and TV star. Trendy’s Designs by Bobby specializing in high-end custom furniture and interior design, has attracted many famous clients including Dennis Rodman, Janet Jackson, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Snoop Dogg.

Now, as this picture taken in the Bahamas shows, Birkhead, 34, is getting to know the daughter, Dannielynn he fought for through three courts.

Anna Nicole Smith’s long-time lawyer companion Howard K Stern put his name as the father on Dannielynn’s birth certificate and forced the drawn-out paternity battle.

Birkhead finally won custody of Dannielynn last week after a DNA test proved he is her father.

Larry Birkhead’s secret gay lover has sold the scoop about their relationship to Star Magazine. His name is Kerrick Ross and I am not sure how much money he got paid… but BOY did he spill the beans.

“I was Larry Birkhead’s secret gay lover! America doesn’t know the whole story about Larry Birkhead. He apparently had sex with Anna Nicole and fathered her baby, but there is no question: He also had sex with me!”

Curious where they met? Apparently, they met at a cocktail party in Louisville a few years ago. Kerrick has been ‘out’ for a very long time. He confessed that Larry asked him to keep quiet about the affair.

“We were together for about two months and had sex eight to 10 times, always at my apartment. He often spent the whole night with me. I had been ‘out’ for a long time, but Larry was not out of the closet — and he was terrified about his family, who were devout Southern Baptists, finding out he was having a gay relationship. He was especially afraid of his father finding out. He said, ‘If my Dad knew about this, he would kill me!’Obviously Birkhead’s lawyers are saying this is simply untrue.

Dannielynn could someday inherit a lot of money… millions and millions of dollar. The child’s mother, Anna Nicole Smith, 39, who was Playboy magazine’s Playmate of the Year in 1993, died of an accidental drugs overdose in February.

At 26, Smith had married oil baron J Howard Marshall when he was 89. He died within 14 months leaving Smith to fight with his family for a share of a $1.6billion fortune.

Judge Seidlin also said that he’d like Anna Nicole Smith to be buried in the Bahamas next to her son, Daniel Smith, who died last year.

“I want her buried with her son,” a tearful Seidlin said when announcing his ruling. “I want her buried with her son in the Bahamas. I want them to be together.”
All three parties: Anna’s companion, Howard Stern, ex boyfriend, Larry Birkhead & Anna’s mother Virgie Arthur had been fighting to determine where Smith’s body should be buried. Stern said he wanted to carry out Smith’s wish to be laid to rest next to her son in the Bahamas. Arthur claimed next-of-kin status and wanted the body to be put in a family plot in Texas. Birkhead, who aligned himself with Arthur, testified that Smith wanted to buried in California near Marilyn Monroe.

Judge Seidlin also encouraged all the participants to resolve the ongoing paternity battle. “Submit to DNA (testing),” he urged. “Enough baloney.”

I totally think it’s a great ruling. Anna Nicole should be buried next to her son, Daniel. May them both rest in peace!

A stunning video shows a barely functional Anna Nicole Smith, stammering and stuttering, as Howard K. Stern rhapsodizes about how much money the clip will be worth.

The tape, which aired Monday night on Greta Van Susteren’s show on FOX News Channel, shows an eight-months pregnant Smith, her face painted like a clown and clearly stoned out of her mind. As she talks to a doll in a baby carriage as if it’s real, Stern repeatedly says, “Is this a mushroom trip?” He then adds, “I’m kidding.”

Another part of the tape shows Anna Nicole Smith even more out of it. Stern’s comment: “This footage is worth money.”

two embalmers from a Fort Lauderdale funeral home began the work about 9:15 a.m. and finished around noon. “They did a good job, and the body’s able to be viewed,” Dr. Joshua Perper, the Broward County medical examiner, told the Miami Herald. “She will look virtually like she looked in real life.”

Her body was ordered embalmed on Friday by Broward County Circuit Judge Larry Seidlin. Seidlin had waited until a DNA sample was taken on Thursday as part of a paternity dispute over Smith’s five-month-old daughter, Dannielynn.

The judge has called for more hearings beginning Tuesday to determine who will take custody of the remains. Smith’s companion, Howard K. Stern and her mother, Virgie Arthur.

Stern wants the body buried in the Bahamas alongside her late son, Daniel. Arthur wants to take the remains back to Smith’s hometown in Texas for interment.

Aside from the burial and paternity issues, the model’s estate needs to be sorted out. Her will designates Daniel as her sole heir. But the document was signed in 2001; Daniel died last September, days after Dannielynn was born. Presumably, the infant stand to receive the bulk of Smith’s estate, including any inheritance from late husband J. Howard Marshall’s contested oil fortune.

Meanwhile, in Los Angeles, the doctor who reportedly prescribed methadone to Smith while she was pregnant with Dannielynn said in a statement that the treatment was “medically sound and appropriate.”

Following the embalming, Smith’s body was placed in a black body bag and sealed with evidence tape, Perper said, and then stored in a refrigerated room.

”The body’s well under lock and key and inaccessible to anybody who doesn’t have the key,” Perper said, per the Herald.

Immigration Minister Shane Gibson has come under criticism from the political opposition for giving the former Playboy playmate special treatment in granting Smith — who died under mysterious circumstances Thursday in Florida — residency in the Bahamas last year.

The refrigerator, which was inside Anna Nicole’s bedroom in the Bahamas, contained methadone (5 mg per 5 ml). The small refrigerator contained cans of Slim-Fast– ironic, since Smith was TRIMSPA’s spokesperson. Several bottles of TRIMSPA sat right next to the fridge.

The fridge also contained Miracle 2000 (marketed as a nutritional supplement for “today’s active lifestyle”), French’s Worcestershire Sauce, yogurt and spray butter. It also appears there are vials of injectable medicines.

The methadone is compelling, as Smith’s son Daniel died from a combination of drugs that included methadone. Law enforcement sources in the Bahamas tell TMZ that at least one witness has come forward and said Howard K. Stern supplied Daniel with methadone just before he died, and flushed the remaining stash down the toilet. That witness is expected to testify next month at the coroner’s inquest into Daniel’s death.
