Star news has learned that ANNE HATHAWAY has gone on an extreme diet in preparation for her role in “Les Miserables.”
And by extreme, we actually mean four sizes smaller.
Anne Hathaway has reportedly started preparing for the role of Fantine, a prostitute suffering from a terminal case of tuberculosis, in the upcoming film adaptation of the musical “Les Miserables,” and that means lots of line-reading, research and looking the part. But the latter doesn’t come as easily as being made-over to look like a Disney princess because she will need to lose as much as 16 lbs. in just three weeks, in addition to chopping most of her hair off.
