Antonella Barba has reinvented her image — on her MySpace website. The recent American Idol castaway has moved her page into the MySpace “Music” category, removed a picture of herself flipping the bird, and has changed her MySpace quote/display name.
“I Just Look Like Her” used to be her display name (still trying to convince the world that she only looked like the girl in the racy net pics?), and the accompanying quote used to read, “keep talking, you’re making me famous.” Now her name is just plain old Antonella Barba, and the quote is, “I’ll have the last laugh.” Well, the attitude is still there.
Antonella Barba does have lots of options after being booted from the Amerian Idol competition. Barba is taking the time to evaluate her options! She wants to strike when the iron’s hot! Then again why not? Antonella Barba’s got offer from various places.
“I’ve been in the public eye, all this embarrassment has come with it, but in retrospect, I still think it was worth it because I’d like to move forward in a career in music,” she said. “Out of 103,000, I made the top 16 and I’m proud of it and happy I got that far.”
