Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are on their way to court to fight for custody of their son Bronx. Ash and Pete called it quits a month or so ago amidst allegations of erratic behavior on both sides. Now the court must decide who is more fit to have primary custody of their toddler.
While Ashlee was hoping to get primary custody, Pete is taking her to court to try and prevent that from happening. Instead he’d like it if they shared custody of Bronx and both paid their own legal bills.
Ashlee Simpson has now hints Pete Wentz is a pill popper. The two seemed to be having an amicable split, but then the accusations started to fly. This time it’s Ashlee saying Pete took too many pills and she didn’t trust him to be faithful to her.

Pete Wents is now telling reporters he couldn’t trust Ashlee Simpson. Why? Well, Ashlee was always out on the town getting drunk, as he says, and hanging out with a fast crowd of “pro skateboarders.”
Although Ashlee blamed Pete‘s erratic moods and the fact they both walked down the aisle and had children too young, the real reason, Wentz‘s friends say, is because she partied too much.
Papa Joe Simpson is happy that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have split. After announcing their separation last week, insiders say Joe Simpson is doing everything in his power to make sure Pete and Ashlee don’t reconcile – the same thing he did when Jessica and Nick divorced.
