Avril and Brody reportedly ended their relationship just this month, but recent reports tell us that they were seen acting very couple-like just this weekend during an intimate dinner together at the Culina restaurant at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills. An eyewitness tells PEOPLE:

“They had drinks on the patio and moved inside for dinner… They were kissing and cuddling and were very affectionate.“

The source adds:

“They definitely didn’t look broken-up.”

Well… that was fast.

Or maybe it’s the thought of those matching tattoos of twin lightning bolts, and “f*ck” that’s got them cringing over the pain of laser removal. On the other hand, perhaps this split is only temporary and we’ll soon be hearing they’ve gotten back together…

Both Avril and Brody did confirm their split, and admitted it was a mutual decision they made together after a surprise engagement over the holidays. But their tweets to each other belie the fact that their stormy, bar skirmish-filled relationship is over.

“Avril has always been there for me and is the closest person to my heart. I love her”

Brody tweeted a few hours ago. To which the Canadian rocker responded with a similar shoutout on her account:

“luv u 2!!! @BrodyJenner“

How sweet.

Maybe the erstwhile pair are thinking things through before they finally decide whether to get back together, or have their matching tattoos removed and remain friends….

The pop punk princess and the Kardashian stepbrother reportedly parted ways after going through a rocky relationship in the latter half of last year. Did Brody maybe get tired of the “Sk8tr Boi” singer’s penchant for getting into fights in bars, and wants to avoid getting his beautiful mug beaten by bottle?

“Brody and Avril aren’t engaged any longer,”

a family friend revealed to Star Magazine.

“Things weren’t working out between the two of them. They decided to go their separate ways.”

And all this after they both got matching tattoos: a lighting bolt on her wrist and and under his ear, and the word “f*ck (her favorite word) on their rib cages.  Avril even had the name Brody inked beneath her right breast.

“[They] go through incredible highs and lows in their relationship and recently things have taken a nosedive,”

the source continued.

“They are just taking things day by day before making any life changing decision.”

It was the bar fight, wasn’t it? Wasn’t it?

Apparently not. They just got cold tootsies about the whole thing.

“They got cold feet,”

the source said.

“I don’t think this is the end. It sounds like they are just taking a break for now. I’m sure they’ll work it out and get back together.”

As previously reported by celebrity news, Avril and boyfriend Brody Jenner got into an altercation outside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel on Sunday, which resulted in Brody getting bonked on the head with a bottle.

Though the tussle was first perceived to be a catfight between Avril and some unidentified girl, the singer revealed that it was actually a beat down between her and five people. She said:

“I don’t fight. I don’t believe in it. To clear things up I got attacked by 5 people last night out of nowhere. Not cool. My face is f**ked.”

Avril, who fled the scene and left Brody by himself (as did the other combatants) before the cops arrived, added that she suffered plenty of injuries as well. She revealed:

“As in black eye, bloody nose, hair ripped out, scratches, bruises and cuts.”

Avril added:

“So not ok to be abusive to others. Violence is NEVER the answer.”

Apparently, Avril was the target of the attack. When Brody tried to intervene, it earned him a whack on the head with a bottle. Hotel security eventually broke up the fight and called the police, but everyone involved (except Brody) ran off before the cops got there, leaving the reality star to explain everything to the officers.

Avril and Brody were at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel when the incident occurred. At around 1:00 AM on Sunday, the pop-punk singer got into a tussle with another chick, and when Kim Kardashian’s stepbrother tried to break it up, someone took a bottle and smashed it on his head.

According to TMZ, the fight ended after hotel security got involved. However, by the time the police arrived, all the people involved in the brawl—including Avril—had gone, leaving Brody to rehash the night’s events to the police officers before trotting off to the hospital to get himself patched up.

The funny thing is, this isn’t the first time a girl Brody was dating got into a fight with another girl in his presence. Back in 2010, Brody’s ex Kristin Cavallari started a catfight with another girl after she spotted her flirting with Brody.

What is it with this guy? Does he secrete some sort of girl fight-inducing scent from his pores?

Oh, and what’s up with Avril ditching her man after causing him to get his skull smashed in? Best girlfriend ever… not!

Say what you want about the Kardashians, but they really are a supportive family, aren’t they?

It’s official—Kylie Jenner is a runway model! The youngest daughter of Kardashian momager Kris Jenner modeled for Avril’s Abbey Dawn fashion show at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York on Monday. Before the show, Kylie took to Twitter to express her excitement:

“Walking the runwayy today at @AvrilLavigne’s @AbbeyDawn fashion show! #style360″

How did she land the job? Well, aside from the fact that she’s gorgeous, it definitely helps that her brother Brody Jenner is dating Avril, who tweeted before the show:

Despite being a newbie, Kylie strutted her stuff on the catwalk like an old pro. She later tweeted:

“Wow..had the most amazing time!!!”

Avril was also very pleased with her performance, as she tweeted:

Avril graced the MAGIC clothing convention after-party at Pure Nightclub in a black spaghetti strap cocktail dress with a fluffy, tulle skirt—a tutu, if you will.

And then, to make matters worse, Avril decided to pair the dress with tattered black leggings and chunky boots.

Seriously, it was all wrong. She looked like a punk rock chick at a high school prom! And she’s 26-years-old!

Avril, please start dressing your age. You may have gotten away with it back in 2002, but it’s 2011 now and it’s just not cute anymore.

The two were on a boat trip with some friends on the French Riviera, and a bikini-clad Avril was photographed affectionately hugging her ex-hubby, Deryck. The former couple (or maybe not so “former” anymore?) was all smiles as they chatted with each other.

At one point Deryck put his arm around her and she kissed him on the cheek.

So what’s going on here? Is Brody not troubled about the fact that his girlfriend is on a boat with her ex-husband?

Just last week, Avril and Brody—who have been together for over a year—looked happy and in love at the 2011 Much Music Awards.

What gives? Is Avril just having some harmless fun in the sun with her ex, or are she and Brody on the outs?

Avril showed off her swearing skills at the Tampa Bay Rays baseball game after a technical problem caused some difficulties at the start of her post-game concert. According to reports, Avril’s mic simply wouldn’t work at the beginning of her show, and when the crowd started to boo, the singer responded by yelling four-letter swear words at them—and to think there must have been lots of young, impressionable children in that crowd.

Afterwards, the public address announcer got on the horn and apologized to the crowd:

“That’s not what the Tampa Bay Rays are about.”

Brody showed off his dramatic hair cut when he stepped out with Avril, making their way over via cab to La Brea Studios in Hollywood, where they visited with gal pal Cheryl Cole. During the day outing, both Brody and his lady-love donned black T-shirts and dark trousers.

Why do I have a hard time seeing Avril and Cheryl Cole as friends? Can you imagine those two as buddies?

“…as soon as she approached, Avril launched at her and said: ‘Get the hell out of my face, you are fake, you are a loser. I don’t like false people. Stay away from me and my friends.’”Lindsay was furious and screamed back: ‘Don’t threaten me!’ She then stormed off to security and tried to get them to kick Avril out. They refused to force Avril to leave. Lindsay eventually stormed off.”

Word on the street is that Lindsay ignored Avril at some other event, but played nice when she was surrounded by people she was looking to impress at the Marmont. Avril is “avoiding going to the Chateau Marmont when she knows Lindsay will be there. She doesn’t want any more drama.”

Jenner and Avril Lavigne are making their recently rumored romance VERY official.

So official, in fact, that they put it in ink: We hear that the lovebirds got matching tattoos over the weekend.

“They showed up to the opening of Mario Barth King Ink and requested the same tats,” says an insider at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas. The reality TV star and the rock princess both requested lightning bolts, she on her forearm and he behind his ear.

“They were really excited about it,” says the spy, adding that the two spent the rest of the evening cozied up to each other. “They held hands openly and were kissing in a corner. Brody didn’t leave Avril’s side all night.”

So, can they be buddies and not together, with a matching tattoo?

The pair hid from the cameras as they left the restaurant and headed back to his apartment in West Hollywood. Avril seemed in good-spirits as she gave Brody’s mom a hug in the backseat of the car while Brody shrunk out of view.

Perhaps meeting the mom brings their relationship to a more serious level? We thought for a moment that Lavigne could have gone back to her ex-husband, Deryck Wimbley. The two were seen hitting a tattoo parlor together and both emerged with bandages on their forearms just a couple weeks ago.

The ‘Girlfriend’ singer – who announced she was separating from the Sum 41 rocker last week – spent a month partying on oil heir Brandon Davis’yacht in St. Tropez, South of France, and sources say the pair have grown very close.

Sounds a little fishy to me! Brandon, no matter how greasy he looks or acts, always ends up by the hot women. How is that possible? Oh, wait, he’s a billionaire heir…I get it.
