Barbara Walters has announced her list for the most fascinating people of 2010. So who made the cut? Well, it’s safe to say the list consists of a healthy mix of highbrow and lowbrow.
On the lowbrow side, we have the entire cast of The Jersey Shore. I suppose this makes sense, those kids rule the media – but God, whatever will Babs talk about with The Situation?
Is Barbara Walters being a hypocrite over same sex kissing? Barbara’s interview of the ten most fascinating people of 2009 had some boring contenders, but Adam Lambert and Lady Gaga both made the list. They weren’t equal in coverage, however.

Barbara showed clips of each person and talked about them when it was their turn. Barbara showed a video clip where Lady Gaga locked lips with another female. Did she do the same for Adam Lambert? From TMZ:
Lady Gaga makes Barbara Walters’ 10 Most Fascinating People of 2009 with the First Lady, Michelle Obama topping the list. Unfortunately Tiger Woods didn’t make the cut this time. (scroll down to see the entire top 10 below)

Lady Gaga is definitely not just another one of your one-hit wonder artist. And of course, her ever-so bizarre and flamboyant outfits have sparked much controversies as well as attention.
Star Jones starts another round with Barbara Walters. Star was bitter and made snips at Barbara after the contract wasn’t renewed a few years ago on The View. The feud died down, until this weekend when Star made a doosy comment about Barbara.

Star was asked about the Tiger Woods scandal and she said this via the Huffington Post:
Rosie O’Donnell goes to her blog and tries to ignite a war with Barbara Walters and the ladies of The View again. Yes, she cannot let it die that there were women on the show she did not get along with. And she claims they didn’t either, and it’s a lie that they do get along. Barbara finally responded yesterday and here’s the clip:
Barbara Walter’s annual list of the 10 Most Fascinating People of 2008 isn’t fascinating. Actually, most of them are quite boring. And overrated. And the choices have some people scratching their head and shaking a finger at abc.

Barbara picks 10 people who have done important, brave, heroic and awesome events during the previous year and interviews them for her ‘year end’ special. Except this year they ain’t so grand. It’s more like they picked stars who can turn in ratings or people who have projects affiliated with the mother channel, abc/Disney.
