So don’t get too excited… for now.

Most of the world rejoiced when Brad finally proposed to Angie with a personalized tablet-shaped diamond ring for reasons other than being happy for the two who will finally be getting hitched for good—and that is because we’ve all been waiting long enough.

But it looks like there’s going to be a lot more waiting. When we thought the engaged couple completely broke their promise of not deciding to get married until gay marriages were legalized across the country, we were dead wrong.

Brad revealed at a press conference for “Killing Them Softly” during the Cannes Film Festival Tuesday:

“We actually, really and truly, have no date.”

The 48-year-old actor then added:

“It’s just something that makes sense to us [the wedding], and certainly date-wise, it’s just a rumor. We’re still hoping that we can figure out marriage equality in the states before that date.”

Well, it’s certainly not impossible…

Instead of purchasing an expensive chopper toy for her little boys, celebrity news insists that Angelina reportedly just purchased a helicopter for her fiance Brad—and some flying lessons so she doesn’t end up regretting it—for the price of around $1.6 million.

While it may be “normal” for the engaged A-list couple who can have anything they want in the world, can you imagine what they would give each other on their birthdays… other than majestic waterfalls?

According to The Sun:

“[Brad and Angie] had a helicopter pad installed in the grounds of their south of France home, Chateau Miraval. So Ange thought it would be nice to buy Brad a helicopter as a surprise present.”

But the site claims it’s not just for Brad‘s entertainment, as it explained:

“In particular, they would like to be able to fly to and from Cannes.”

It also explained the reported purchase of flying lessons:

“But even though Brad has his private pilot’s licence, he still needs to take a few flying lessons – which he’ll start straight away.”

Not bad. We totally wouldn’t hold it against her if she did buy such a toy for Brad.

Well, after six years of being married himself, he should know!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie‘s recent engagement news had celebrity friends congratulating and offering them wedding and honeymoon advice. And Jack Black? He told them two things, and for one, he says marriage should add spice to the couple’s sex life.

Not sure if that would really apply to Brad and Angie, since they have been together for 7 years and share six (three biological) children.

The comedian offered advice to the couple via Entertainment Tonight:

“I think the sex actually improves once you’ve sealed the deal. It gets better. Maybe not for everyone, but for me, once we sealed the deal and we shut off all the exit holes and said, ‘No, this is it. We’re in it for life,’ then we really let loose.”

As for their honeymoon, Jack added:

“I recommend to Brad and Angie, go to Big Sur for your honeymoon. Leave the kids with the nannies just for a couple days.”

While the sparsely populated land may strike the A-list couple’s interest for its view of the Pacific Ocean, the mere mention of it puts it on the paparazzi map so we doubt that they’ll actually end up there.

Unless they want their private moments splattered across tabloids…

We honestly can’t imagine Angie crying, although the moment does call for it!

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were reportedly surrounded by their kids during the engagement proposal, and with their 6 children finally witnessing the long-awaited revelation of Brad putting the tablet-shaped $500K diamond engagement ring on Angie‘s delicate finger, Angie couldn’t help but well up.

According to Us Weekly, a source very close to the couple said:

“‘Angelina cried and smiled’ at the proposal.”

The source continued:

“Everyone hugged once she put [the ring] on. She went around and showed it to each of the kids.”

We sure felt a sting in our eyes too… After all, the couple had waited 7 years for the moment that they can finally wed!

While we may all wonder just how Brad Pitt popped the question to A-list parner of 7 years, Angelina Jolie, and where they will be tying the knot, many still wonder what how ex wife, Jennifer Aniston, is taking their engagement news.

Sure, the “Friends” actress may be smitten with her current beau, Justin Theroux, but we still haven’t forgotten about how Brad had left her for his “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” co-stars off screen.

A friend of Jennifer‘s told an E! UK reporter:

“[Jennifer] doesn’t care. She really doesn’t. She’s happy with Justin [Theroux]. She’ll probably marry him. She’s moved on. People don’t want to believe it, but she has.”

“She’ll probably marry him”? If this came from Jen herself, then this sounds a lot like her character in “Friends” when she was trying to get her boyfriend of 5 weeks to marry her after hearing about the engagement of her longtime boyfriend, Ross. Although we doubt that she’d actually have to do that with Justin.

Just a day after Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie‘s long overdue engagement hit Hollywood news, gay rights group Equality California gave the couple their thumbs up which meant they shouldn’t be guilty of taking the leap.

It’s a good thing they don’t mind that Brangelina had broken their promise of not tying the knot until everyone had the right to get hitched. But we doubt that anyone would really mind, given that they really want to get married.

EC’s Communications Director Rebekah Orr explained:

“Marriage is something that says ‘we’re a family’ in a way that nothing else can … No one has to deny that for themselves or their family to prove they are an ally and supporter of equality.”

If only Brangelina had kept in mind that their family comes first and had cared less about showing that they were solid supporters, maybe they would’ve married sooner. But we guess we couldn’t expect anything less from the couple who have been together for 7 years and have 6 children together! Kind of backward, don’t you think?

Their kids must be ecstatic!

It’s been an adventurous 7 years for A-list couple Brad Pitt and Angelina, and now with 6 children and millions of dollars between them, Brad‘s manager Cynthia Pett-Dante confirms that “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” are finally engaged and have a ring—designed by one of their favorite jewelers, Robert Procop—to show for it at the LA County Museum of Art’s Chinese Galleries last Wednesday.

So they do want to get married for real… We just don’t know when yet.

A rep for Procop told The Hollywood Reporter:

“I can confirm that, yes, Robert Procop did indeed design an engagement ring for Angelina Jolie, designed in collaboration with Brad Pitt.”

The rep continued:

“Working closely with Brad Pitt to realize the star’s vision for the ring, Robert Procop was able to source a diamond of the finest quality which was then transformed using Pitt‘s unique designs, cut with distinctive faceting to a shape and size that perfectly suits Angelina‘s long, slender fingers. Throughout, Brad Pitt remained heavily involved, overseeing every aspect of the creative design process from the perfect cut of the diamond centerpiece – an elongated tablet shape – to the finishing touches such as the mounting of a galaxy of smaller stones which are graduated in size and faceted to match, adding a crowning lustre to the ring.

Finally, the rep gushed:

“The full creative journey – from conception to completion – took a year, with Brad Pitt waiting until the perfect moment to unveil this special jewel to Angelina Jolie.”

How sweet!

It’s awfully long overdue for the Hollywood couple, but we suppose they’re thinking that it’s “better late than never!”

Mr. and Mrs. Smith are back?

Celebrity news reveal the possibility of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie gracing the big screen together for “The Counselor” since their last controversial team up as the notorious couple in “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.”

Directed by Ridley Scott, the movie follows an attorney in search of a big payday after proposing to his girlfriend, Laura, and starts filming in June. Angelina, however, is rumored to be playing the female lead named Malkina, who almost resembles the actress’s real life fierceness and sexiness.

Michael Fassbender and Javier Bardem are also said to be in talks of joining the flick as well.

But Jim Rash and co-writers swear they didn’t!

The noticeably thin Angelina, who arrived wearing a classy black velvet dress with a thigh-high slit by Atelier Versace alongside hubby Brad Pitt, made it a point to always, always show off her leg through the slit of her dress for the cameras at last night’s 84th Annual Academy Awards ceremony where she presented the awards for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Screenplay. Little did our Angelina know that her pose for the cameras—which she probably practiced at home in front of her family!—will be the inspiration for what was to be one of this year’s most startling Oscar events and trending Twitter topics, next to J.Lo‘s alleged wardrobe malfunction and Sacha Cohen‘s red carpet prank!

“The Descendants” co-writer Jim Rash surely didn’t miss this and mimicked her sultry leg-flashing stance—dramatically spreading his leg out and putting his hand on his hip—on stage when he and his co-writers Nat Faxon and Alexander Payne received their Oscar moments later for Best Adapted Screenplay.

But Jim, who has nothing but respect and praises for the actress, clarifies backstage:

“I had just seen her pose and thought it was bold and fun.”

He jokingly continues:

“And you know what? We have exactly the same legs!”

Jim went on saying:

“[It was] a loving tribute and nothing but.”

Faxon adds:

“Angelina’s supremely hot. There’s no way to do anything but honor her.”

We’ll bet it was to make fun of her a little bit. But really, what could ever embarrass Angelina?

The A-list couple, who’ve been together for six years, and have six United Colors of Benetton kids to show for it (three biological and three adopted), have admitted it’s their offspring who want to see them get hitched. They’ve earlier stated, very implicitly, that they’d only tie the knot if every other gender in the world is legally allowed to do so.

Why do we get the feeling they’re just reticent about being totally vulnerable towards one another and are using that silly excuse so neither of them would cave in and admit to wanting to make it official?

Good thing their six kids have more sense.

“We’re getting a lot of pressure from the kids,”

the 48-year-old “Moneyball” star told CBS Sunday Morning.

“It means something to them.”

In fact, their children have been nagging Brad to “get mommy a ring,” and Brad said he’s promised them he would. Finally.

It looks like two very hard-boiled people are no match for their brood. We owe to congratulate those Jolie-Pitt kids. They’re more persuasive than those blood-thirsty zombies in “World War Z.”

Well, there you go. Why use the excuse of not getting hitched until all other genders around the planet can when you’re actually dying to tie the knot? We’ve always credited Brad and Angie with being so real, they hurt our eyes, only to find out they’ve been letting some skewed-up system of principles keep them from making it legal? Well. To say we’re disillusioned is an understatement…

“We’d actually like to,”

the 48-year-old Oscar nominee earnestly expounded on marriage in an exclusive interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

“And it seems to mean more and more to our kids.”

Do be honest, Brad. Do your six United Colors of Benetton kids actually care if mommy and daddy are married as long as you’re all together under the same roof? Or are you and Angie just using them as an increasingly flimsy excuse to put the whole thing off?

“We made this declaration some time ago that we weren’t going to do it till everyone can,”

Brad continued.

“But I don’t think we’ll be able to hold out…to be in love with someone and be raising a family with someone and want to make that commitment and not be able to is ludicrous, just ludicrous.”

So what’s stopping you, then? Make that appointment at city hall. Take all the kids with you. It’ll be over in less than an hour, and you won’t have to worry about the press speculating about whether the two of you are ever going to get married…ever again…

Does Angie not approve of George‘s latest arm candy?

The incident occurred when George Clooney and Stacy Keibler hitched a ride on a private jet with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie from L.A. on their way to the Palm Springs International Film Festival, and it looks like Angie turned on her inner ice queen, sending chilly icicles Stacy‘s way to add to the frost already on the former wrestler’s blonde hair…

“Angelina refused to acknowledge that Stacy was even on the plane,”

a source told US Weekly.

“Angelina went out of her way to ignore her, from takeoff to landing. She would not even look Stacy‘s way. She was not having it!”

What’s with Stacy Keibler that’s gotten La Jolie‘s panties in a bunch? Was she sending a cold and crystal-clear message that Stacy wasn’t to even glance Brad‘s way, or else? But why would she? Brad Pitt and George Clooney have been pals from way back, and Angie‘s been part of that friendship since she and Brad got together more than six year ago.

Maybe Angie simply got tired of having to invest too much time and overtures of friendship towards any of George Clooney‘s girls, knowing this one might last just as long as the rest of the others.

Quite understandable given she and Brad had to stand at the red carpet for an interminable length of time (she with her heels and he with a torn ACL and cane) posing for photographers, and then granting minute interviews, before heading into the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the Awards. And besides, neither of them won for “Moneyball” or “In The Land Of Blood and Honey,” anyway, so why not make memorable a tedious evening by saying something controversial to get tongues wagging…

Both Brad and Angie looked glamorous and sophisticated (he in a classic black tux, she in a satin asymmetric dress by Atelier Versace with a red fold across the chest and a matching clutch) during their marathon red carpet stint, and were in fact unanimously voted “best dressed couple” of the Golden Globes, cane and all.

But what caught immediate notice was Angie‘s “off-camera” remark when she was asked about what she was most looking forward to that night.

“Getting into bed with Brad.”

She quipped with a wink, Associated Press reports.

And we’re guessing she was either trying to keep it real, or giving celebrity gossip websites something to talk about…because who can imagine watching the Awards when all you could think of is the both of them getting down to it as soon as they got home?

Was this the prank George Clooney was talking about when he mentioned earlier that he was going to ruin Brad‘s career with a huge mother of a practical joke? Probably payback time for when Brad poked fun at his sexuality on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” which was in turn comeuppance for George‘s pregnancy jokes about Angelina Jolie…

Still, the two recipients of People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive have got each other’s backs and have been pals going way back, so Clooney may either have been teasing Brad, or commiserating with the torn ACL the “Moneyball” actor incurred after having wiped out on a ski slope while carrying daughter, Vivienne…

So when Clooney came onstage to introduce “Moneyball,” he drew a lot of laughs from the crowd for his doppelganger cane and his pseudo limp. Too bad Brad didn’t get the globe, and George got the last laugh when he won for “Descendants” instead.

Doesn’t matter, though, right? Even if it did look like Clooney was out to ruin Brad‘s career for real.

And despite Brangelina‘s dour mugs (she didn’t win for “In The Land of Blood and Honey, either) gracing almost every Golden Globes red carpet photo, at least they seem to both be in the running for best dressed at the Awards, cane and all…

Today, the 48-year-old is still a hunk, and he’s receiving serious Oscar buzz for his role in “Moneyball.” We really can’t conceive the fact that he didn’t exactly take Hollywood by storm the first time he tried to break into showbiz. In fact, Angelina Jolie‘s partner and father of six relates that his first audition for a major production turned out to be a disaster…

“My agent sent me out for two films,”

Brad tells W Magazine.

“One of them was The Accused with Jodie Foster. I was so excited.”

Foster would go on to win the 1988 Academy Award for Best Actress for her role as a rape victim, and Brad was told to go scat.

We’re not sure if he auditioned as one of the rapists. With the face and body of an angel, he probably could’ve stood as one of the do-gooders in the film.

“I called up afterward and asked, ‘How did I do?’”

After a long awkward silence on the line, he was told.

“There were three seconds of silence and then: ‘Have you ever thought about acting classes?’”

Ouch.

Still, the last 20 years have done really well by Brad. He cites a particular pièce de résistance in his acting arsenal that he happens to excel in:

“I die really well, by the way,”

he boasts.

“It’s one of my strong points. I just take a bullet well.”

But aren’t we glad he’s alive and well in Hollywood to still set our hearts (and groins) a-flutter after 20 years?

Brad showed up at the Palm Springs International Film Festival’s Annual Awards Gala with partner, Angelina Jolie and a cane, which he used to assist him hobble across the red carpet. Bet Angie was furious when she learned he took that dangerous a risk with one of their precious children, although she looked to be all smiles in front of the paparazzi…

A rueful Brad, who’s being honored at the film festival for his work in “Moneyball” and “Tree of Life,” revealed he wiped out on a slope while carrying one of the twins, we’re not sure which one. The fall twisted his knee, and he suffered some ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) damage, as a result.

Why do we hear Angie thinking out to him loud and clear: “serves you right.”

Nevertheless, another injury was added when a fan went into paroxysms of delight upon beholding Brad Pitt and his cane, an ambulance had to be called to take the fan away in a stretcher.

How extravagant!

Leave it to Angie to set the trends. How much are you betting we’ll soon be seeing celebrity spouses presenting various geographical landforms and bodies of water to each other as gifts?

The “In The Land of Blood and Honey” director gifted her “Moneyball” actor love with a flowing California waterfall which served as Pitt‘s Christmas and 48th birthday present combined. An excited Pitt, who predictably was like a child on Christmas morning, is planning to make use of his architectural hobby to build a house over the falls, in homage to his favorite American architect, Frank Lloyd Wright…

“Brad has dreamed of a home with the sound of a waterfall cascading under the house,”

a source told the Daily Mail.

“He wants to pull all aspects of nature, light, glass and varying levels into the concept.”

Looks like former blood-wearing wild child Angie‘s definitely sold on spending forever after with Brad if she’s actually purchasing pieces of natural topographical terrain for him.

“Angelina wanted to get him something incredibly special and, because she knows how much he loves architecture, she thought this would be perfect,”

the source continued.

“This is the present to top all presents.”

Yes, it is…until next year, when Brad decides to top her generosity and buy her a lush uninhabited island. With an active volcano.

In one of the more bizarre stories ever to hit celebrity gossip websites, we’ve heard Jen‘s friend and top Hollywood agent, Sue Mengers allegedly gave the “Friends” star this advise for just in case she decided to become a mother in the future, and isn’t Brad Pitt just the perfect specimen of human to milk future sons and daughters of the earth from?

But perhaps the timing wasn’t right, and Jen was still fuming at Angie for “stealing” her man. Perhaps she was looking for the perfect revenge/rebound man, which she found for a time in comedian Vince Vaughn…

But just now when the 42-year-old Men’s Health Magazine’s Hottest Woman of All Time hears the ticking of her clock resounding at all hours, her ex Brad has reached the point of being highly unlikely to donate any part of his essence to anyone except his Angie.

And we’re not sure Justin Theroux has the right combination of genes Jen would like for her future offspring.

Will somebody please get down on their knees in front of Brad Pitt, to please…pretty, please give Jen this one last gift so life may finally begin…because after all, it is Christmas…

Well, what do you expect? We all know he and Angie love to adopt… maybe they thought Jonah could be like their temporary son or something…

…except he didn’t exactly live with them. Jonah explained the whole living situation to Jon Stewart during his interview on “The Daily Show”:

“I was shooting [21 Jump Street] in New Orleans, and he let me live in his house… He said, ‘Go live there!’ I said, ‘I’m there for three-and-a-half, four months,” and he said, ‘That’s cool. Live at my house.’ Like, he’s the nicest guy.”

Jonah added:

“Brad is the coolest guy… It sucks because he’s so handsome… You don’t wanna like him so much!”

Stewart then asked:

“Was Angie home? Is he that cool?”

With a chuckle, the “Get Him To The Greek” star replied:

“He isn’t that cool.”

You’ll also find sinister characters impersonated by the likes of George Clooney as tyrannic Captain Bligh from “Mutiny on the Bounty,” Mia Wasikowska as a vampy home wrecker, Rooney Mara as the androgynous sociopath, Alex from “A Clockwork Orange,” Gary Oldman as a menacing-looking ventriloquist’s dummy, Kirsten Dunst as a vampiric femme fatale, Glen Close as gothic silent movie star, Theda Bara, and Ryan Gosling as “The Invisible Man.”
