Angelina Jolie gave birth to twins by caesarean operation last night, a boy, Knox Leon and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline. Brad Pitt was by Jolie’s side for the births at a clinic in Nice.

Dr. Michel Sussmann, the obstetrician who deliveried the twins told AP that “The mother, the babies, the father are doing marvelously well.” Knox, the boy twin weighed just over 5 pounds and Vivienne, the girl 5 pounds.

Angelina Jolie has been photographed and she is still pregnant.  Darn!  Does that mean Entertainment Tonight is going to issue a retraction about the babies now?

You’ll have to click to In Touch Weekly to see the actual pictures.  The pictures are supposedly only 4 days old and show a very pregnant Jolie playing out back with Shiloh.   One reason she could be holed up is that she was put on bed rest after being out and active for so much of May.  Brad has been around the world since then….so you think these are authentic? Or was Entertainment Tonight correct in saying she delivered may 30?
