That brain hemorrhage must have done the Poison frontman a lot of good. Bret Micheals is spending more time bonding with his daughters and has even cut an album with them. It’s a rendition of the band’s famous rock ballad “Every Rose Has It’s Thorn”.
Current entertainment news reports that Bret‘s daughters, Raine, 10 and Jorja, 5, perform the vocals while daddy rocks the electric guitar, and their team-up will be featured in the Kidz Bop album, “Kidz Pop Sings Monster Ballads”. Listen to it here before it debuts next week…
Bret Michaels has now decided to sue the Tony Awards due to his 2009 injury proceeding a performance there. Michaels is saying that producers failed to adequately tell him how to exit the stage, which then resulted in him being smacked in the head by a piece of the set.
Michaels then suffered a pretty severe brain hemorrhage six months later, which he says is a direct result of the 2009 Tony Awards mishap.
His lawsuit states:
Bret Michaels had another health scare this week. Last week, Bret had surgery to repair a hole that was discovered in his heart while he was taping Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice in April. Bret initially did great after the surgery.
Once he got home though, his blood pressure dropped and doctors were worried about him.
Four days after the surgery, his blood pressure plunged. Tests showed the problem was not due to the surgery, but to dehydration and exhaustion, possibly as a result of his diabetes.
Bret Michaels had a heart surgery Monday to close a hole in his heart. Officials at a Phoenix hospital say rocker Bret’s surgery was successful.
A surgical team at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix performed the procedure Monday. A spokeswoman for the hospital says Michaels is recuperating and remains in the hospital’s intensive care unit for observation.
Doctors discovered the hole in Michaels’ heart back in April when he was treated for a brain hemorrhage.
Bret Michaels is Engaged!
Bret Michaels is engaged! Bret popped the question on cable TV! Bret asks his on-off girlfriend of 16 years, Kristi Gibson to marry him on Monday night’s finale of his VH1 reality show, “Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It.”
And she said YES.
Bret, 47, got down on one knee and told Gibson, 39, “I love you, and you’ve been unbelievably a big part of my life, and we have two beautiful girls together. … I know we love and respect each other, and I hope that we can find that inner love that we have forever. And I want you to be my wife.”
Bret Michaels has denied ever having any kind of romantic engagement with Miley Cyrus’ mom, Tish Cyrus. Last month, we learned the Cyrus parents were divorcing and immediately everyone pointed the finger at Tish and Bret‘s under-the-radar affair.
Bret Michaels finally responded and said he and Miley worked on a song together. That’s it.
