Bridget Marquardt is now dating director Nick Carpenter. Sniff sniff. The last of Hugh‘s girls has gone out into the wild. My first instinct was: who the hell is Nick Carpenter? Well, gentle reader, Nick Carpenter is a director who worked on a movie called StarCraft II and used to date Marisa Tomei. Right on, Bridget. He has a job!

According to Bittenandbound.com things are moving along quite swimmingly:

I’m doing a club appearance in Vegas at Studio 54, so he’ll be my Valentine and go along with me. Bridget says that things are going great and they spend most of their time staying close to home, drinking wine and playing board games.  This whole dating thing feels new again and she says it’s just like being back in high school. Chatter about Nick and Bridget actually started back in September, but they have been successful at keeping it on the down low. Wondering what Hef thinks of Nick?  According to her old beau, it’s all good and he says the couple can come and hang out at the mansion anytime.

Well, bravo to Bridget. They sort of look like the odd couple but who am I to judge. I’m sure their conversation is riveting.

We all know that Kendra Wilkinson snuck in a little action on the sly.  And she was dating a football star when she still lived in the house.  It’s apparent that Holly Madison was getting a little frisky with Criss Angel too.  But Bridget?  She tells People Magazine:

“He’s so excited for me and happy for me. Hef says if I want to come back to the mansion and bring a date, that’s no problem,” says Marquardt, who moved out of the Playboy mansion last week after living there for seven years.

“He’s just being really sweet about it. We have gotten closer than ever. I will love him forever, there’s no question.”

The company has recently seen shares fall from $12.4 (£6.20) to $2.1 (£1.55). An insider at the company told the Daily Star that bosses had been aware of the worsening situation for “a while”.

“Only the top brass has known for a while how bad things have been for Hef recently.”

Spokeswoman Elizabeth Austin would not confirm the sackings, saying: “It is our policy not to comment on corporate matters such as employee issues.”

The news will be another blow to Hefner who recently discovered that two of his “bunnies” may have been cheating on him.

Holly Madison, who has previously been named as Hefner’s “No.1″ girlfriend, is alleged to have had an affair with magician Criss Angel and another bunny, Kendra Wilson, is reportedly dating football star Hank Baskett.

I guess nothing is recession proof except Walmart, right?

So why the sudden revelation?  The secrets that Hef wanted Holly Madison and Kendra Wilkinson are being spilled by other people.  And they weren’t supposed to be until AFTER season 5 was nearing the end, because they lead in to season 6.

WWTDD reveals some shocking secrets such as Kendra IS engaged and Bridget is leaving the show.  They will both leave at the end of season 5 and season 6 will be spent finding their replacements…which has ALREADY started.  Holly remains ‘with’ Hef for the time being.

The most shocking part of the story remains that Bridget claims to not have had sex in THREE years!  She and the Hef never did ‘it.’

Bridget was married before she moved in to the Playboy mansion.   She was separated and in the process of getting divorced from that husband when Hef noticed her.  But her divorce still hasn’t proceeded.  She’s still separated and they continue to work on a divorce.  But it’s been FIVE years.  I think one of them is holding out for a reason.

Maybe the separation is so Bridget can get famous, then go back to her husband?  Happy little life with more money?  Strange….

God bless America! We all live our dreams and naturally so does Hefner! It’s nice to believe, isn’t it? How old is the dude? He’s 82, right? They do have a lot of medical inventions these days to help the elderlies but I still don’t see how those three women could be doing him day in and day out? Or worse yet, the other way around. Let’s not be cruel, Hef’s got an image to maintain. He’s THE Playboy then and he’ll be the Playboy if he lived up to 100 at least that’s what he thinks anyway.

Hefner does acknowledge that the relationships are “in transition” though.

“Are there going to be changes in the relationships, I’m sure there are going to be,” Hefner said. “I think that in the future, the girls are going to, in time, be dating others and moving out of the mansion, and when that happens we will not be keeping it a secret,” Hefner said.

Bridget told Paul that they like ”do things together,” things like watching tv, finding something fun and crazy to do.
