Hollywood news took a look at what former Republican Vice-Presidential nominee SARAH PALIN‘s controversial daughter is up to and we found her working at a job way below her previous showbiz standards.

It seems the 21-year-old reality star hopeful, who’d had a stint in Season 11 of “Dancing With The Stars,” and even went under the knife to improve her appearance, had a major change of heart about her career path after being heckled while shooting a reality show last September. Looks like Bristol hasn’t inherited her mom’s thicker politically-honed skin because she now works at a dermatologist’s office in her hometown of Wasilla, Alaska…

“I wasn’t really into the Hollywood thing,”

Bristol tells In Touch Magazine.

“After that, I just realized that I was over it. I was ready to come home.”

So Sarah Palin‘s oldest girl finally got tired of going through her rebellious phase, she’s decided to put away her gallivanting boots and settle down to home and hearth. Besides, isn’t her son Tripp due to start school soon?

“He’s going to be starting preschool soon, so we needed to settle into a routine,”

Bristol says of her three-year-old son.

During an interview with E! News about his tell-all book, Levi revealed that ex-fiancée Bristol Palin’s mom had a major thing for him. He said:

“Even growing up my friends would always say that [Palin would flirt with him], it seems kind of weird. Then one of my publishers said she had a cougar crush on me!”

He added:

“I guess I’d say, ‘Yeah, I think she did.’ Now looking back and remembering what everyone said. She never touched me or anything like that! Now it kind of weirds me out thinking about it.”

Dude, get over yourself! We’re sure Sarah has better things to do with her time than lust after her daughter’s baby daddy. Please.

Levi’s probably just trying to get the spotlight back on him. What a fame whore.

Bristol reportedly got a cursive “T” tattooed on her right foot. What does it stand for? Her rep explains:

“T is for Tripp, Trig, Track and Todd.”

Just in case you didn’t know, Tripp is the name of her son with ex-boyfriend Levi Johnston; Trig and Track are her brothers; and Todd is her father.

Bristol debuted her new ink at her lunch date at Pink’s Hot Dogs with Kyle Massey (whom she is rumored to be dating) and his brother, Chris, who are both her co-stars in a new reality show.

As for the dating rumor, Chris insists that, though Kyle and Bristol are close, they are just friends. He recently told People:

“Kyle and Bristol hit it off from the first day they met… We all became good friends. Over the course of the show, we only got closer and closer. Both of our families connect well. It’s one big happy family.”

Despite this, there have been reports claiming that Bristol’s mom, Sarah Palin, was not pleased when she found out about her daughter dating Kyle.

Mercede Johnston really ripped into her brother’s baby mama, Bristol, in her Playboy interview. She reveals:

“Everything is about her, her, her. She has to have her own way. She’ll be supersweet and then she turns into the most evil person I’ve ever known … Honestly, she is the meanest person.”

Mercede adds:

“I didn’t know someone could be so vindictive and evil …[Bristol's] a sociopath. She doesn’t think anything she could do or does is wrong.”

But the recent Playboy model doesn’t just hate Bristol, because she reserved some of her nasty comments for Sarah Palin, too. She says:

“She doesn’t make her kids go to school. She’d rather parade them around and put on a show, at book signings or conventions.”

And for good measure, Mercede threw some professional attacks as well. She reveals:

“I think she’d have had a mental breakdown if she was elected [president] … She can’t even answer Katie Couric‘s questions.”

Honestly, we think Mercede is out of line here. Sure, Bristol did trash her brother Levi in her new book, and she may be right about Sarah and Bristol (or she may be making stuff up), but the fact that she used her Playboy interview to trash them… that’s just a little weird. Seriously, she wouldn’t even have gotten the offer to do the magazine if it wasn’t for the borrowed celebrity she got from the Palins!

And also, isn’t it a little strange that she’s trying to undermine the reputation of a political family while she’s posing naked in a men’s magazine?

Way to kill your credibility, Mercede.

“Absolutely. I think she’s awesome. I think she’s smart. I think she should be awesome for our country.”

As for her intention with the book, Bristol stated ”I hope that other women with jerk boyfriends can read the book and be like, ‘You know what? I don’t have to be with this guy.’ And I think parents can read the book and open up a dialogue to their kids.”

According to Hollywood news, Bristol‘s new book is filled with interesting stories including her low-life  baby daddy how Levi Johnston got her drunk on a camping trip and took advantage of her during their first sexual encounter.

“I’m not accusing Levi of date rape or rape at all. But I’m just looking back with the adult eyes I now have and just thinking, ‘That was a foolish decision.’”

Yes, I think for all the women especially the very young ones, you don’t have to be with a jerk boyfriend, there are lots of nice guys out there. Will you be reading Bristol’s new book? What about mommy Palin running for President?

Celebrity gossip websites are buzzing about the fact that Bristol shared the story of her “de-virginization” in her memoir ‘Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far’—and it’s not a romantic story at all. Bristol says that baby daddy Levi Johnston got her drunk on wine coolers while they were on a camping trip, and then popped her cherry.  And, despite the fact that they used protection, Bristol got pregnant anyway.

When Bristol told her baby daddy the news, Levi said:

“Better be a f**king boy.”

Hmm… charming. But Levi was even more charming in the delivery room—when he was asked to cut the umbilical cord of his own baby, he responded:

“Gross.”

Bristol also describes in her memoir how Levi used to cheat on her back when they were together. She said he would come home with love bites on his neck, and sometimes he’d be really drunk, too.

The young mother finally ended things with her cheating baby daddy after he told her that he got another girl pregnant—and actually had the nerve to name the boy “Bentley,” which was Bristol’s first choice for their son’s name.

Why’d she end up with such an a-hole, anyway?

Just a few weeks ago, Bristol debuted her “new face” at the afterparty for the White House Correspondents Association dinner. She shocked everyone by showing up with a noticeably defined jaw and chin, not to mention a slimmer body and a flattering new haircut. However, the former ‘Dancing with the Stars’ contestant insisted that it was not plastic surgery. Bristol gives UsWeekly the inside scoop:

“It’s not plastic surgery… I had corrective jaw surgery.”

But why did she do it? Bristol admitted:

“Yes… It improved the way I look, but this surgery was necessary for medical reasons…so my jaw and teeth could properly realign…I don’t obsess over my face.”

Despite this, the most noticeable result was the improvement of her physical appearance, and Bristol is very much aware of that:

“I am absolutely thrilled with the results… I look older, more mature, and don’t have as much of a chubby little baby face!”

We agree. Think she’s telling the truth about the “medical reasons” part?

Right on the heels of debuting her new face at a Candie’s Foundation 2011 benefit gala, too. Lucky Bristol. Getting rid of those mounds of chub was a good career move.

According to Hollywood celebrity gossip, the as yet untitled show will follow Bristol as she relocates from her native Alaska to Los Angeles for her new (reality TV) job as a charity worker. She’ll be bringing along her two-year-old son, Tripp, of course. He’ll serve to remind her of how she nearly “tripped” up her mom’s vice-presidential ambitions, not that she hasn’t channeled him into a lucrative abstinence advocacy career.

The show will also be a way for Bristol to bring awareness of the difficulty of single parenthood:

“Well, Tripp was born into a one-parent home…a single-parent home… and it’s difficult for him…you know, I don’t have a college education yet. I don’t have a steady job. And it’s difficult for all teen moms, no matter what they’re background is.”

So congrats, Bristol. Even without that college degree and steady job, you’ve got it made in Lala Land. Can we get the number of your plastic surgeon? Oops we’re just playing.

Bristol, who used to have a slightly chubbier face, is now sporting more chiseled features. She seems to have more defined cheekbones, which could be the result of liposuction, and a more prominent chin, which could be attributed to a chin implant.

Her lips also look different. Lip injections, maybe?

Palin was a contestant in the fall 2010 season of Dancing with the Stars. During her DWTS stint, she was always in the Hollywood gossip news. Palin and her partner Mark Ballas reached the finals, finishing in third place. She lasted so long on the show, even though her scores (given by judges) were lower than the other competitors.

The student body didn’t think the University needed to shell out for the reported $10 – $20K fee Bristol was demanding. Ouch! Bristol thinks it wasn’t about money but politics.

“Bristol was invited to speak with college students as part of a panel. Evidently she has now been disinvited because of apparent concerns by some vocal members of the undergraduate community,” the statement reads.

“Bristol is deeply disappointed that an institution that publicly claims to “listen to diverse and sometimes conflicting perspectives, to contribute rigorous academic standards and unbiased scholarship to discussions, and to encourage a civil discourse in which a pluralistic society can respectfully address complex and difficult issues” would withdraw an invitation to a speaker because of “uproar” over their assumed content of her message or even worse, because of her last name.”

Well, what do you think? Was it really her speaking fee – which most people on panels like that are paid for, it isn’t just Bristol – or was it her political last name? There were death threats and even a threatening package arriving at the CBS studios where the reality show is broadcast. 

Bristol said it was faith which got her through this and she prayed a lot and relied on God.

Bristol told People magazine after the finale, “It is faith that got me through this and just praying all the time and just relying on God and knowing that He is on our side and we’ll get through this.”

Palin says she learned a lot from the DWTS experience not just about dancing. “Just persevere, have confidence in whatever you do and be willing to go try new things,” she said. “I’ve grown so much as a person.”

Her partner Mark Ballas said now that the competition is over, it’s time to celebrate, ”We’re getting on the private jet with the rest of the couples and we’re going to have a party.”

I believe strongly in prayers. We write celebrity gossips but we are very celebrity friendly. I myself believe it’s bad karma to badmouth celebs (in fact anyone) just because sometimes there’s something to pick on. As a matter of fact, there’s always something to pick on, isn’t it?

As for Bristol, we are so frekking proud of you!

While a rep for CBS can’t be 100% certain it was meant to alarm the studio, the FBI released this statement.

“The L.A.P.D., LA City and FBI Hazardous Materials officials responded to a report of a threatening letter containing white powder received at CBS Studios in Los Angeles,” a rep for the FBI explained. The powder may have been inside a piece of fan mail addressed to Bristol Palin, 20. “Initial field screening was negative for hazardous substances but will be transported to a regional lab for further testing. A joint investigation is continuing,” the rep said.

Alas, it was just talcum powder.

According to the police report, Cowan was watching with his wife when he jumped up and shot the TV in anger. He also allegedly pointed the gun at his wife who ran out of the house and called the police.

Not surprisingly, Cowan has mental problems and was held at his house for 15 hours before turning himself into the police.

Well, there you go – perhaps the most interesting story to come out of this season’s DWTS!

When Brandy was voted off, members of the audience audibly gasped, some even booed.

Her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy addressed the disappointed fans.

He said, “People vote and their voices count,” “I don’t regret a second … of being on this season. It’s been an amazing journey.”

Brandy herself was shocked by the elimination..

“I don’t know how I feel right now,” she said, crying

I tell you Brandy definitely could have won in my book.

Once again, Bristol Palin remains in the competition though hanging by a thread. Now down to just final three: Bristol, Jennifer Grey and Kyle Massey. Who’s going to win?

Today Page Six reported:

“A source on set of the ABC show said, “They looked very close, flirty and cuddly when the cameras weren’t on them.”

Bristol, 19 was ripping off partner Mark Ballas’ shirt and miming a makeout with him. Her parents were in the audience cheering her on.

“I felt confident,” she told OK! “I took his shirt off. It added to the performance. It was spicy. It was part of the show.”

Despite the sexy act, the judges didn’t really give Bristol a very high score, only a 32 out of 60. At least it was enough to stay on the show. Who went home last night! The Situation! He scored the lowest: 28 out of 60.

Bristol looks like she is losing weight and she is smiling! Who or what is making her smile? Was it the date she had with Mark Ballas at the bar?

“Dancing with the Stars” contestant Bristol Palin ran into a bit of trouble in her home state of Alaska on Friday when the 19-year-old was spotted at Rumrunners Old Towne Bar and Grill, where she was watching her “Dancing” partner Mark Ballas, 24, perform.

Police are investigating the circumstances to determine whether Palin’s presence there that night warrants legal action.

One source told TMZ, “The place is also a restaurant … so under 21 is allowed under Alaska law if accompanied by a person over 21, which she was.” However, according to the Associated Press, she should not have been allowed inside without a “parent, spouse or legal guardian over 21.”

Bristol had a salad for lunch yesterday, which is no cause for alarm or controversy because of her age! Do you think they are making a big deal out of nothing?

In just the short time they’ve been scheduled to practice, Bristol has called out more then half of the time. One day she had a speech to give, another day her son Tripp was ill and the following day she only practiced for half the time.

On a related note, Bristol has told the masses that she’s going to wear the most conservative outfits. So perhaps nobody will be too disappointed if she’s cast off early.
