Jamie Spears, Britney’s dad, terrified British reporter Sharon Churcher in 2002 with his drunken knife-wielding and overbearing demands. Churcher traveled to Kentwood, Louisiana to interview Britney’s family and ended up spending a disturbing night with Jamie Spears in his Kentwood shack.

A very heavily intoxicated Jamie didn’t want Churcher to leave when the interview was over, threatening her with a knife and bellowing at her to spend the night in the house.
Britney Spears says she would have more freedom in jail than she has in her current ‘new’ life. Supposedly she says this in a new documentary coming out about her life. No word on who produced or when this documentary will be released.

Britney said these things during interviews – which claim to be recent – and while she is cognizant of herself. But after reading the quotes, it doesn’t match with what we’ve seen of her in the press lately. Here’s a few from The Sun:
The court has ruled Britney Spears’ Dad Jamie will be the permanent conservatorship. Or conservator. Or whatever it is that he does while he controls her finances, medication, music, career and comeback.

Jamie Spears stepped in a saved Britney’s life. Whether you are a fan or not, she would not have survived without him in her life. And even though she is making great gains in coming back, the conservatorship will continue. The judge said per TMZ it didn’t have to be forever, but no one else will be in charge of it as long as it lasts.
